Water supply and washroom is not adequate, one manual pump in one camping loop. If your site is in the far end, it is annoying to get water and go to washroom

Great camp site thats close enough to Calgary but yet still far enough away to get away. AMAZING sites and this is a must for a day trip from Calgary.

What a beautiful peaceful backyard campsite. It's a short drive, stunning scenery, always a few animals to see, close walk to the river, adventurous feeling walks/hikes, fresh cool air, stars galore and very well maintained. Also had a very pleasant experience with the Rangers

The location is fantastic, but the campground is not great. We were tenting, and it rained, which wouldn't have been too bad except that the tent platforms are too covered in mud to drain anymore. There are only two washrooms in the loop we stayed in, so it's a hike for that. The only water tap is a hand pump, and also a hike, for non potable water. I don't really see how the operator justifies charging slightly less than most full service campground for such poor services.

Not sure about the campground itself, because we were mountain biking (Elbow Loop), and that ride was just amazing!

Absolutely breathtaking there!! Lots of nice day camp spots set all around the lake! Just the trash site only at the parking lot, so you do need to bring a wagon in case you have to hike around the lake with your picnic and then bring it all back when your done! Looks like a spring fed lake- chilly and it says you can fish there but we didn't see any. Met some divers who had just come out of the water: says about 20 feet deep and they didn't see any fish
