  Terrific store and outstanding service. They have a discreet selection of QUALITY lamps and lighting fixtures on display with many more available. Beyond sales, they offer a wonderful level of service. They even fixed my old Artemide Tizio lamp! Many thanks!

  My experience with Light The Store is disappointing and feel being cheated. After online search for a lighting fixture store, I came all the way from New West to the store with hope that I would see variety of light fixtures to choose from, but I saw only limited display at the store. Well, its website did not clearly state what they have on display, not many pictures posted online. I had been searching online for what I intended to get, still I really want to see light fixtures on display, like most major home furnishing chain stores. I thought Light The Store is some kind of specialty light fixture store catering to high-end customer and carries either Canadian or European products, for that I am dead wrong, all made in China as other stores.
  Price wise, it's outrageous by far compare to all major franchise stores. I realized afterwards, at Home Depot, Lowe's..etc. a similar product costs from 55 to 80 CAD, single pendant 100 W light fixture; I paid 199 plus taxes. I also noticed that at other stores, such light fixtures come in single fixture and triple fixture as a set, each set may cost like 150 to 175. Now, I would say that I had purchased a single fixture with the cost of a 3-light fixture set for my foyer lighting need.
  In addition, The Store puts no price tag on its product? In some countries, no price tagging is in violation of the Fair Trade/Commerce/consumer-protection related laws. To me, Its not the money that matters so much, it's how Light The Store operates in making a profit.
  Honest service is the fundamental quality for any merchant to operate for growth and prosperity. Shoppers beware.
