Quick service and lots of options, even for vegetarians. Located close to Yaletown, so an easy walk back for a post night out snack
One of the best places in town for fries and poutine! The sizes are generous, even small size is more than enough for one person.
I've been going to this place since it opened and while I still lived in Vancouver. To my extensive knowledge of the area, best fries. Then you can get everything in vegan and vegetarian including their famous Poutine and even gravy.
Was told it was the best late night poutine in van. Did not disappoint with the Montreal smoked meat and the cheese and gravy was well layered
Great Poutine, I was very skeptical about the containers they serve it in but they layer it so you have gravy and your choice of toppings in the middle and bottom as well as on the top. Overall 5 Stars!!
There may be cheaper poutine options but there's no way there are any better ones. The fries are perfect.
If you are a fan of poutine, this is a must on the way home after a late night out. The gravy here is the reason everyone comes back, it's very rich and flavourful. This place is open quite late so easy to get some poutine after a big night. The line starts to get long after the bars start to exit everyone. Try the smoked meat poutine, you won't be disappointed.
I was served very pleasantly by the one gentleman. But the lady was extremely rude with attitude. Affected my experience, majorly . The fries I have to say are great, but you need to have good service all around.
Small stop shop with a short wait time depending on the crowd. You're better off taking your food to go unless you're here in groups of 2 or 3 max. This has got to be my favorite poutine in town.
Some of the best Poutine in the city. Lots of variety in sauces and toppings! Good family owned business who are always trying their best! I frequent it and have NEVER been disappointed!
Fritz on Granville fails to compare to its compadre on Davie. Somehow they managed to comepletly fall apart. Food is terrible compared to the one just a few blocks away. Environment is stale, and staff is rude.
They also refused to let my three year old daughter use the restroom after we bought our meals.
Here is the biggest f u that I can provide, and I wish there was more action available.
The guy serving my friend must of been under the impression the drunk guy ordering my poutine for me was for my drunk friend. I'm sure if I was drunk that coulda been a dann good poutine. Cold fries burnt bottom fry pieces sloppy gravy. It sucks I was expecting better. What happened to "mean poutine"?
I noticed the size difference after i ordered a medium poutine. At first taste the fries were soft and dry, the gravy mostly pepper and salt, with a hint of onion. My enjoyment improved as I ate though. The proportion of cheese, gravy and fries was excellent. The cheese was delicious. And the temperature was perfect. But, I favour a crunchy, crisp fry with a juicy inside, and a full flavour gravy. If this is your only poutine ever, please don't go to Fritz. Jump on the skytrain to New Westminster station and get a cheaper and larger poutine, in a better atmosphere, at Spud Shak. It's safe to say I won't be going to fritz for my next poutine craving, it's not worth the price.
My favorite go-to poutine place in Vancouver. I am not sure what authentic poutine tastes like but the one I get here is been my absolute favorite of all the places that I have tried. They even have vegetarian gravy, which I like and prefer. Highly recommended!!
If you're visiting Vancouver and want to experience poutine, this is the place to get it.
They give you enough peppery gravy to cover all your fries, there's always enough curds, but not too many, and they're always crispy.
Service is friendly, and the price is really on point! You can even get toppings like pulled pork and bacon bits. There's also vegan cheese and other veggie options!!
Just do it.
