The ambiance is rustic and cozy but still elegant enough. Appreciated the warm fresh bread basket. We were seated by the stone fireplace despite showing up without a reservation. The lobster bisque was excellent; rich flavor and nice portion size for a starter. My husband enjoyed his bison short ribs as a main course and said they were very tender. However his vegetables could have used another minute in the pan. I had the gnocchi which was dense, fresh and flavorful. The bacon was just right to add a salty flavor while the fresh asparagus and mushrooms were cooked perfectly. The service was solid from start to finish. Overall nice experience!

Took our kids and they have fantastic meal choices with gluten free and dairy free options. Great atmosphere.

Our go to restaurant is Levilla when we don't know where else to take our friends. The food is always great. Tonight's dinner they screwed up my order but was quick to take it back to the kitchen and have it corrected. I'm now sitting in a wheelchair so I've been finding it hard to find a restaurant that is accessible with great food. I was happy to find out that Levilla was wheelchair friendly, but it was hard to get in as the door wasn't automatic, however when the hostess was back at her station she was quick to offer assistance. There was a ledge to get in and out of the dining area.

For the price of dinner for two, you can definitely do better else where.

The cocktails were heavy on the booze, which overpowered any other flavor.
Brie cheese appetizer was very good.
Gnocchi (with prawns) was average at best and very expensive.

I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to eat here.

Monday August 17, 2017 we dined at LeVilla for the first time. Crab Cakes and Coquille St-Jacques and were amazing. Amanda was very friendly and helpful. Main course was very filling and we both agreed before the bill was paid that will be back again.

Delicious steak, incredible service and great wine list. But it's the ambience and quaint setting that make you want to return.

The gazebo is cute and intimate and works in the summer and the winter with the fire roaring. Will definitely return.

WORST customer service I have ever experienced !!!!
I live in Ontario and purchased a Gift Certificate (via phone) from Jenn W. the General Manager. She was quick to charge my credit card...but she has ignored me since. I have made 12 attempts to reach Jenn W. to arrange a day my niece can pick it up. I finally got her on the phone after a month but she said she was too busy to talk. Since Jenn W. has ignored my emails & phone messages I finally had to contact the Calgary Police. After 2 months she finally emailed me stating 'Levilla does not give refunds'. UNBELIEVEABLE !! I do NOT want a refund. I simply want to arrange a day for my niece to pick it up! This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL rude manager I have ever done business with.
Also, my cousin had dinner at Levilla 2 weeks ago and said her steak was dry and over cooked, the server was nice but could not do anything about the steak.
I am 62 yrs old and have never written a bad review about a restaurant but feel I should warn others about Levilla. If the Manager can treat a customer with such disregard I have to wonder how concerned she is about cleanliness the kitchen ????

This place has excellent food on the many occasions we've been. A little on the pricey side but very dependable quality of food and staff.

I went there for my first time yesterday. The ambience was wonderful, and the wait staff were extremely polite and courteous. I ordered the Pan-Seared Organic Steelhead Trout, which was topped with two seared scallops and served with lobster risotto. For dessert, I had the White Chocolate and Orange Creme Brulee.

It was, no word of a lie, one of the best meals I have had in months. The trout was cooked perfectly, and the lobster risotto was wonderful and creamy. The creme brulee was delicious, rich, and much more subtle than I initially expected. The plating was beautiful, and every aspect of service was excellent. The price is a bit too steep for me to go on an impulse, but I fully intend to go there again the next time I have an excuse to celebrate. I heartily recommend this place for anyone looking for a romantic dinner, or a place to hold a celebration.

Food was awesome. We came as two couples and we both own restaurants in Calgary and are usually very picky. Service was good, portions were large for price. We didn't leave hungry. Definitely will come back.

We went for supper and we were very disappointed. My duck was over sauced and tasted like soya sauce; our potatoes were cold; the vegetables were over cooked and covered in sauce. Our guests' yorkshire pudding was hard as rock and they could not replace it. Service was very good. We were there last year and we were very impressed, but the food has definitely changed.

Went for lunch. Had the seafood crepes and the soup of the day cream of broccoli and cauliflower. Good tasting, classy food and prices were decent.
