I always find what I’m looking for. They have a great selection of educational toys! Was there last week looking for birthday and Christmas presents and it did not disappoint. I talked to the new owners and was happy to hear all the positive changes they are doing.
I am astounded at the poor attitude of these people. I bought a game recommended by a staff person and found it was just a $20 deck of cards, many of which were blank. When I asked for refund they said no as the plastic had been opened. Had I known without opening the plastic i never would have bought it. That they would recommend a product so strongly and then also confess they hadn’t opened it is shameful. I will never shop here and recommend others shop where customer service and loyalty has more value.
Not a great service. Unfortunately this businesses doesn't get the basic principle of trying to build a good relationship with customers. Please do yourself a favor and try walmart or amazon, at least these companies give you a better service and a better return on your dollar.
Lots to look at a nice little shop
I came here to buy a fidget spinner and when I got it, they were used parts with fake bearings. This store sells fake fidget spinners and I highly recommend going to a different store.
I will never go there again! The owner/manager is really rude..she screamed at me because my 2 years old was touching a book.
I cannot believe that she owns a toy store.
Don't waste your time and money..go to toys'r us ..people are nicer there and prices way better.
As a mount pleasant business owner and mother I am warning all parents to stay away from this store. It is not a safe store to bring your children to. I brought my 6 years old daughter there 2 weeks ago and a female employee verbally attacked my daughter screaming at her that she broke a toy. I asked the women if she seen my daughter break the toy and she said no. My daughter says she did not break it. She could have approached me properly instead of attacking a 6 years old and making her break down in tears. Yesterday my daughter went back to the toy store with her grandmother to buy some play doh and the same women ripped the toy out of my 6 years old daughters hands And made her cry again. I have emailed and left messages for the owner to call me back and they can't even be professional enough to call me back. I can not believe that someone so mean and abusive to children could work at a toy store. This is unbelievable. I will definitely be going the few extra blocks to the toy store on main st.
Bought my grandchild some hard to find books here at Lely's.
This is a great shop for children's books at good prices. They also have a small but excellent selection of wood and educational toys. Staff are friendly and well-informed.
