My son started attending Learn & Play Preschool in February 2020. He was nervous attending a new preschool after attending the same daycare for years. The teachers were so patient and kind with him making me feel at ease.
Then the Covid shut down hit and these wonderful ladies went out of their way to give our kids a small sense of normalcy, meeting with them and providing parents with activities and lessons to do with them that expanded upon what was taught in their virtual meetings!
When they opened in their new Harvest Hills location in September my little guy was excited to see his friends and teachers again. The nearby park is an extra bonus and provides additional outside time! When outside time is not available they do activities such as dance and yoga. Before COVID, different instructors were brought into help teach different activities such as music and ball sports.
As a teacher it has been wonderful to see the growth in my son. They took my high-spirited and strong willed son and fostered a sense of independence and leadership I didn’t know was there. He comes home with new songs, activities and skills such as letter and number recognition and printing. I firmly believe that they have helped him be more prepared for kindergarten in the fall.
Learn & Play also has been diligent with their COVID management and prevention. I have always felt my son was safe in their care.
The teachers at Learn & Play truly are wonderful care givers and educators and you can see how much they care for their students. It is comforting to know my son had someone else loving him while away from my care.
