Hello everyone, I am Plumpkin and I am about 6 years old. Today they took a new picture of me to show all of you how pretty I am. I was saved from the streets a while back and brought to safety at LAWS. I am getting a little worried and feel a bit sad that nobody came to adopt me yet. I am a really sweet, quiet, non-assuming, robust female and would love to be adopted very soon. I love being brushed and rub my head against the bristles. I love sitting next to you to receive belly rubs and I prefer to keep all four of my paws on the ground. I love other cats but most of all I'd love to have my private bed in my true forever home. If you can please come and meet me and give me chance to show you how wonderful it would be to have me around to watch TV with. I am available in Almonte at Pet Valu.

Please meet Taffie and Richie, two good-looking, healthy tabby cats of about 6 months old. They're brother and sister and because they depend on each other they have to be adopted together. From when they were little they were in a foster home in SMITHS FALLS and it's the foster mom's desire they will be adopted from her place. Click on their individual picture to read a little bit more about their personality. Their adoption fee together would be $270. They're altered/micro-chipped/inoculated and come with a 30-day free pet-insurance. New arrival in Carleton Place at Pet Valu
Please meet one year old Vicky who has not been with us for a long time. She recently put on her pretty red harness and went on a trip to Willowdale, a senior home, to be petted by many eager hands. She loved it so did the seniors in that home. Vicky is a very friendly female who loves attention, chin rubs, but also enjoys some "down" time lounging on a window seat while watching all the activity outside. She's blessed with shiny black and white fur and has 4 white socks on. Vicky is available for adoption at Pet Valu in Carleton Place.

Please meet Blake. While she was unsure about her new residence at LAWS she has adjusted well in a very short period of time and has changed into a friendly female cat. Blake has very soft medium long hair and is looking for her forever home very soon. She is about 1.5 years old and she is available at LAWS.

Lost cat:
We last saw our cat Lulu Bear on August 28th, 2018. She is a small black female that has been spayed and microchipped. Her last known whereabouts was Clothier St. West between Alfred St. and Harriet St in Kemptville. If you have any information please contact Bianca Tolson. For your "shopping/adopting" convenience LAWS has currently 3 beautiful and very friendly cats and kittens in Pet stores in Almonte, Perth and Carleton Place looking for their forever home(s). If you're still considering to adopt a furry friend why not check these ones out! They will stay in the stores until they have been adopted. Two cats from the same family went missing weeks apart.
Artemis is the tabby long hair female. The family believes their black cat with grey whiskers named Dzur went looking to find her.He's neutered. Last seen near Mockingbird Lane in Ashton on August 27th evening. Anyone who has seen Dzur or Artemis is asked to contact Nancy at 613-702-0778.

All of us at LAWS like to thank you for your donations for our garage sales and auctions this past year. Because of our upcoming renovations we cannot accept anything anymore this year. Please don't leave garage sale items on our porch of the shed anymore as we need all the space we can create for own office items/furniture/crates etc.
We'll let you know NEXT year when we'll have another garage sale or auction.

Our pick of the day:
Please meet sweet Donna who is barely one year old but already raised 4 kittens, two of her own and 2 who needed a mamma cat. Now that they they have found homes she is taking her time to enjoy herself in her foster home having fun and playing games, chasing toys and running through the tunnel. Once Donna gains your trust she will follow you around until she get pets and praises. Donna is still in a foster home very close by our shelter.
