My sweet niece Caila Joy was born early this morning at 1:49am, at 4lbs 13oz. She has been admitted to NICU, and has been seeing specialists throughout the day.
I was incredibly honoured to have shared this morning with my family and see their beautiful addition.
My job is to not only document these precious moments but to tell their stories.
Caila’s journey begins here, perfectly made in his image and is exactly where God wants her to be. I’m so thankful that I get to be Caila’s aunty, and that I get to be honoured to help share her story.
We love you Caila!!

SURPRISE!!!
Something I’ve been looking for a while, was photography related clothing. All I could ever find was Etsy shops but nothing local.
BUT GUESS WHAT. I did some designing on photoshop and I had an Epiphany. I could totally do this. Why weren’t I doing this? So.. I’m doing this!
The Shop will be officially opening this weekend! But throughout the next few days I will be showing everyone some of the products I’ll be offering!

As I look back at 2018, this session in particular comes to mind. This was one session that I loved and truly felt good about every single image.
A big part of my growth as a photographer is being able to believe in myself, even when others don’t. These last few years I’ve been reminding myself not to belittle how I feel about my work, because of how someone else makes me feel. I’ve learnt that it’s okay to turn away clients that don’t match my photography style, and thats okay. I truly believe that having a connection and relationship with my clients, helps me do my job better. Connecting is SO important because that’s what helps me capture my clients’ connections with each other. This is a big part of why I offer consultations (coffee dates) for all my sessions, not just weddings.
I want to continue making relationships and being a part of those big moments. My clients truly do become my friends, and I can’t wait to see where 2019 takes us.

Kenzie is very creative photographer!!
We celebrated Christmas in July lounging on a vintage green couch!
Anderson loved that he was able to play with all the props, especially the presents! She had all kinds of patience for a very active toddler and the session was quick and painless for my husband who is not a fan of being photographed!
I am looking forward to being able to order our Christmas cards early this year, It will take me some time to decide what picture to use, might have to create a collage with a few!

When Kenzie did my daughters and I little family photoshoot it was a great experience ! My daughter Aiyana had lots of fun and plenty of laughs and giggles! We hit a few bumps with my little redheads sassy personality and Kenzie did amazing and was absolutely the best at being patient and waiting for her to get back into her smiley mood ! It was an overall great experience and definitely will be getting more photos taken from her �
