Kelty Saves the Day “Ransomware”
Kelty iManagement’s Back-up and Disaster Recovery technology , makes sure that your Data is fully backed up and proctected, so that you can have the leading edge in the Disaster Recovery process. Most people think this won't happen to them but last week right here in MB, Kelty Saved the day and one of their customer over $15,000. This customer was attacked by a “Ransomware” which is a type of malicious software designed to block access to your Comptuer / Data until a sum of money is paid. With Kelty’s technology and partners they were able to make sure the customer didn’t have to pay the Ransom and was able to be back up and running in less than 30 mins and fully restored in 3 hours with only 25 minutes of the customer data lost. This means there was limited down time, the customer didn’t pay one penny to the hackers, and saved weeks if not months of trying to recovery from there old back up system.
