Vow, what a great place to be, the lake absolutely breathtaking. It's right on top of the mountain surrounded by other mountains. It's cold place to visit or camp even in the dead of the summer because it's way up in the mountain. You will need a 4x4 to go up there through the old logging road. Plenty of free campsites or paid ones as well. Lots of school kids go camping there as its away from everything, so if you are a family camping there I suggest you camp at pay sites.

What an amazing spot with stunning view. Strongly recommended vehicle with good ground clearance. It is currently icy so make sure your vehicle has recovery gears.

Well worth the drive from Coquitlam to spend a few hours enjoying the scenery and taking some amazing photos of the mountains. The reservoir was low when we visited but that only made it easier for the dogs to enjoy themselves. A few of the streams and small ‘tide pools’ were loaded with hundreds and hundreds of frogs. We were here to take photos for our company stock photography library and it was worth the drive. I’d say a 4x4 is a recommended option.

This is a beautiful lake and campsite situated in the mountains near Chilliwack. The views are incredible! The garbage left by irresponsible people over the years has gotten worse however and it's sad people are like that. It's worth a visit though!

Extreme potholes and very rough climb to Lake. However the quiet and view of Lake and valley impressive and relaxing Just the drive back shakes it all out again and your tense again.

Really nice quite spot to camp for a couple nights, never seen it busy up there as you really need a 4x4 with good tires to make the trip up to the lake, about a 30 minute drive with potholes, loose rocks on steep incline and not for the faint of heart

Beautiful location. The road is pretty rough, however in the AWD on the way up, we did see a smart car coming down about 3/4 of the way up So apparently anything is possible. Toilets available and clean sites with picnic benches. Lake in nice and refreshing not many boats at all.

The road in is rough but totally worth it. Been going here for over a decade.

The road up is a bit tricky but it's worth the drive to get there

Very picturesque, but the beach access is less nice than in some other places and lots of garbage and broken glass in many spots, which does not feel great. It's a shame, because the lake is beautiful.
