Food was good but after our experience here we won't go back and I would not recommend it to anyone else. We went out to have a good night and can honestly say what happened ruined our night out. We gave our waitress an average tip on a $60 Bill for average service, which we thought we were being reasonable and when she looked at it she said to my husband "Is there something wrong?" Me and my husband both replied, "no? The food was really good." She said "oh ok" and then immediately went to tell her co-worker like it wasn't good enough as we walked by they just stared at us because we over heard her. She could of at LEAST waited for us to leave to insult a customer.. I work in customer service myself and I would NEVER act in this manner!

Wow, great food, great service! Decent variety on the menu and our server made some excellent recommendations. We also enjoyed a couple of beer flights to try three of the local brews (oatmeal stout rules!)

We sat on the covered porch on a cold night and were perfectly warm through dinner.

Would definitely return if I find myself in Kingsville again for a meal!

The food is always super tasty and their specials are always so hard to choose from they always all sound good! I don't drink, but whenever we go for dinner there I get 1 beer from whatever micro brew they have on tap. Always different and always good. Their service is great and staff all friendly. Their fries are some of the best I've ever had. We always go to Jack's every time we have a chance to get out. We've yet to have a bad meal or experience.

Jack's is in the heart of Kingsville, right off the main street, yet feeling far removed from the hustle. My husband and I came in from the city for dinner for our anniversary. We had visited a couple years ago and just loved it. It's in an old home, so you can just imagine the happenings in its day as you walk through. Both my husband and I got the weekly specials on the waitress's suggestion. The waitstaff is fantastic and the food is amazing. I recommend even just their restaurant to everyone I know. Love this restaurant and love Kingsville.

We went to Jack's Gastropub for lunch. The food was excellent that was all made from scratch. The service was attentive and friendly. I had the Plain Jane burger and it was freshly made, while my wife have the Irish Nachos (made with home made kettle chips). Both were delicious. I would also recommend trying the craft beer available here.

Jack's is a go-to spot for anyone in Kingsville. The food and drinks are always top-notch, never any exceptions. If you want really great food and a really great place to enjoy it, Jack's is the place.

Delicious burgers and very good prices. Seating limited so make a reservation. Local brews and very tasty food at affordable prices. This is how restaurants should be.

Edit: down to 3/5. New menu, they eliminated so many options I loved. Asked for some pulled pork on burger, got a surcharge of $6. I understand a surcharge, but really, that was a little high. Burger came out mealy and the bun was soggy. Reduced food quality for same prices with the new menu change, not a fan.

Wonderful local restaurant that has been consistent in quality for many years. Personally love the appetizers (wish I could eat the Irish nachos more often) and their seasonal menus are a great way to get fresh, new expeirences. Strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Windsor/Essex area.

Jack's has to be one of my favourite restaurants in Windsor-Essex county. Their slightly non-traditional menu can still keep anyone happy (even my picky grandfather) The Irish nachos are a classic favorite! I love their constant rotation of Ontario craft beers as well. The atmosphere is probably one of my favourite things about this restaurant, however; it's very homey, and nice to see such an old building being repurposed into something great. I'm looking forward to trying out the Inn sometime in the future.

Immediately we were welcomed in without a reservation. I would suggest you call ahead. The server was patient and very thoughtful. Service overall was exceptional. The food thoughI was extremely impressed by the home cooked tastes and you could tell the care put into each plate. There were various rooms you could nestle in and there were group settings as well. Overall 10 out of ten. I would take the 1hr drive to get there anytime!
