Had a lovely London Fog here on my first visit. The place was pretty dirty, obviously hadn't been swept in a while and there was a pigeon walking around inside!! Packed out with people, feels very community-oriented. Nice long table with plugs to do work.

I liked the breakfast sandwich! I'm not sure what it is about the coffee, but whenever I get a latte here it tastes a little off to me. At first I thought the milk was slightly sour, but I've noticed this taste every time I've grabbed coffee at JJ. I'm pretty sure it's just because the type of bean used for the espresso is more acidic/fruity than I prefer, so it's really a matter of preference.

Nice decor, friendly service. It's actually not bad for a chain and offers a range of drinks and food. Plus it has seating inside and out.

Terrible coffee but we all go there because it's hard to find a good study shop. Recent upgrade of a laptop bar with a gazillion plugs- pretty appealing. Fireplace in the winter, also appealing. The new outdoor patio is great in summer. The Little birds that zip in and out through the garage style windows make my day!

Staff usually friendly and nice place to grab a coffee and/or hang with friends. Their the only JJ Bean open late (11pm)one at Commercial nr Broadway closes at 10. Can be hard to get a table, but great place if you enjoy working on your laptop in coffee shops.

Relaxed atmosphere, good coffee drinks, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Hands down superior to the, trying to be fancy, Starbucks Reserve next door.

Staff is indifferent and the pos machine has the gall to ask me to tip? I've actually had a staff member roll their eyes at me at this location because I didn't grab my coffee quickly enough? I don't even know. The product is priced high enough that I would hope the companies employees don't have to rely on tips. It's also priced high enough that I would hope they pay their staff better than to roll their eyes.

Well priced and tasty coffee! Wish they did pour overs, but they have fresh French Press available so that works pretty well.

As you enter, the smell of vinyl & coffee permeate the air. Soon you find yourself surrounded by toques and plaid with no where to run. Beware, you have stumbled up the watering hole of the hipster, you may in fact have been a hipster all along. If you wish to observe the dance of the native hipster, there is a vast outdoor patio space from which you can enjoy your beverage.
