The pork dogs are the best. Gave the Wagyu brussel sprouts a try but the casing was incredibly tough. Skip that one.
It really just tasted like a regular hotdog. The sausages flavor kind of overwhelmed the mayo/teriyaki/seaweed flavor. Maybe there wasn't enough sauce?
Oroshi is my favourite hot dog. I like to top it off with a bit of cooked onions for a more buttery taste. When waiting you can admire all the celebrities who have also tried Japadog.
We discovered this stall while on trip to Canada, never heard of such thing. It was fantastic and delicious, we returned several times during our visit!
Awesome hot dogs, but can be a bit slow when it's only one person working. They should always have to staff each stand with two employees. One to take the orders and one to make the dogs.
Totally gross. Really. Porky greasy and covered in nori seaweed.
Great hot dogs although a little slow to serve when we visited. Still a great lunch.

Leave it to Japanese cuisine to take something American and make it THAT much better. The sausage itself was already unique and full of flavor, but then they add bonito, cabbage, and a BBQ sauce. It becomes amazing! A must try.
In A Nutshell:
-Before foodtrucks became what they are now, you had JAPADOG.
-You would be lucky to get one when they first started a few years ago, as the lines would be LOOONG.
-These carts specialize in fusing a variety of sausages w/ bomb ass Japanese ingredients.
-The serving size is plenty enough to keep you full during your lunch break in downtown Vancouver.
Overall, I think they have these in NYC now. Don't forget to stop by when you're in B.C.
