Imagine a mini hydroponic farm that doubles as a stylish piece furniture for your home or apartment. Our product team at Inertia Engineering + Design are proud to be working with Conner Tidd and Kevin Jakiela from Just Vertical to bring their vision of the @Aeva" to life.

Our customer clek has grown by almost 10x since we started working with them back in 2010. Inertia Engineering + Design is proud to be their product development partner as they continue to grow. I believe our collaboration is a great example of how lean and agile product development can lead to great things.

Check out our story on how we worked together to create their flagship product "the foonf"

No key? No problem. Sera4 partnered with Inertia Engineering + Design as their ODM (original design/manufacturer) for a ground up design of their digital keyless padlock. We were responsible for industrial design, electrical and mechanical engineering, as well as turn-key manufacturing and product supply chain management.

Inertia recently designed and manufactured the prototype for Aeva - an in home mini hydroponic farm. To make the Aeva stand out from its competitors, we designed it to fit right in with your favourite furniture at home or in your apartment. What do you think?

The team at Inertia welcomed the opportunity to help reinvent how people move and store their belongings. Here's a quick read on how our joint venture with Bruce Bowser and AMJ Campbell came to be, what we've accomplished together and what's next!

One of the main reasons I got into product design is because I’m a big believer that great product design really can improve people’s lives. The D-Box is an ultra low cost, battery powered, automated CPR compression device primarily for use in resource-limited nations and in disaster relief situations. Here’s a quick bit of background on how it came to be: https://inertiaengineering.com/dbox-case-study/

https://goo.gl/NcKeL7 Over the past few weeks, I've been sharing my thoughts on why companies often get "stuck" when trying to develop new products. In this post, I talk about how trying to cut spending at the product design stage can not only slow you down, but end up costing you dearly further along in your product development journey.

Over the past several weeks, I've been sharing the different steps we take to evaluate and partner with the very best manufacturers when creating physical products. I've just finished adding the final section all about quality control: How to lay the right foundation and how to maintain it throughout your product development journey. https://inertiaengineering.com/how-to-find-manufacturer

This is my 2nd of 6 posts looking into the challenges of getting physical products to market. The inspiration comes from years of listening and learning from my customers! In this post I talk about how a good team and solid product planning can act as the kryptonite agains your feelings of "execution overwhelm". https://inertiaengineering.com/5-reasons-your-physical-pro…/

Recently, we’ve been sharing insights on our blog about how to find a great manufacturer. In this post, we talk about what to look for when you're comparing quotes from various manufacturers. We also go over the basic elements of a supply agreement and outline Inertia’s approach to quality planning.

When it comes to finding the right manufacturer for your product, it’s really important to have a structured evaluation process to help compare the various manufacturers you meet with.

Finding a manufacturing partner that can deliver consistent, high quality, defect-free products isn’t easy, but it’s not impossible either. You just need to be prepared to put the work in up front and ask the right questions.

I've been blogging (and adding content each week) about how we approach the evaluation process for our clients here at Inertia - and have also created an extensive set of checklists you can use, which are available for download through the link on my blog.

I hope you find this useful. If you have any questions or need help with your manufacturing plans, don't hesitate to reach out. https://inertiaengineering.com/how-to-find-manufacturer

Very disappointed that Inertia sanctions the anarcho-communist terror-support of David Moscoe. ( who is smearing your brand all over the internet by association with his horrific communist opinions) . I will definately do my best to avoid associating with your company until this has been addressed.
