Wow, thank you Christine and family.. You were amazing!!! "Our family rented the Across the Pond Cottage July 28th to August 4th, 2018. Have been to a lot of resorts, cottages, etc. over our 44 years of marriage. With the family and without. We can be very critical of our stay because of what we have become accustomed to. This cottage was great. The roominess was fabulous. 4 bedrooms accommodated everyone comfortably. The dining room/living room was perfect for the 6 (and 8 for a couple of days) of us. Location is perfect..proximity to Fenelon Falls which is an extremely picturesque town with everything you ever wanted. If you needed just milk, it took all of 20 minutes to go there and back. The cottage has 2 decks which we used a lot. The distance to the lake was great as safety for our grandchildren was a priority. Yet; you had a great view of the water from the deck and front window. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets!!! Clear water and I think that our grandchildren were growing gills after the week. We couldn't keep them our of the water - jumping off the dock. The lack of a sandy beach was not a detriment as we really don't like sand to be carried in and out all of the time. They wore water shoes and it was perfect - only rocks -- no gucky, yucky mud. Fishing wasn't great but sometimes that it is 'the luck of the draw'. All-in-all; a great place and one that we would recommend to others. Christine and Dennis Crooks and Family"

Afternoon tea!! Such an "Across the Pond" thing to do and Maryboro Lodge is The Ritz of Fenelon Falls to take it in.. Oh, and can you pronounce "Scones" correctly?
