Very Cool & Very Modern Event: POWER ELECTRONICS FOR THE DIGITAL UTILITY
This amazing lecture discusses the evident need for an innovative framework required to deliver society's expectations of future energy systems where sensors, components, systems, and services are further integrated and data analytics is the “glue” towards ever intelligent energy systems.
Energy storage is progressing nicely to complete the ever-changing landscape of modern electricity grids albeit it is still an expensive proposition at this stage. Join this talk to discuss new challenges for system integration!

IEEE Toronto is holding an AMAZING event here at Ryerson!
Dennis Cecic, Senior Technical Training Engineer with Microchip Technology Canada Inc. & Chair of the IEEE Toronto Computer Society will be speaking on connecting your IoT Device with LoRaWAN to The Things Network (TTN).
The class will walk through connecting a LoRaWAN-enabled endpoint through a LoRaWAN gateway to The Things Network’s servers and finally to an end user application. Upon completion, attendees will be equipped to deploy each piece of this IoT solution.
