Great stop to check out, lots of great agricauteral and military artifacts to be seen.
They are very active with events and help promote community spirit.
I like most aspects of the musem. I didn't care too much for the history of the wardens and the prohibition feature was o.k. Great staff . Cool electronic tour wands.
This town is seeped in history. From being a strategic & economic port, to being witness to fiercest storm in Lake Huron history, to being home to largest salt mines of North America and of course being part of the farming Canada.
All of this is captured in the museum. The museum has some great relics and studies of early 19 & 20th century. It also references the historic gaol of the city; which is also a museum.
Diverse collection from Penny Farthing to pottery to war memorabilia. Got to go on locomotive
All we can say is wowbeen to many museum before but for a small town..this ranks in our top 5
Kid friendly, good community outreach programs, a local treasure
Very interesting learning about the history of the county. Lots to see for all ages.
Terrific museum. A must see.
This is one of my favourite museums to visit, I've been there several times. It's always interesting, and there's so much to look at! Went there as a kid - still go as an adult :)
