A good place to learn about Islamic art n culture. I'd personally add more exhibits as it doesn't cover everything. But worth a visit.

A delightful snowy Saturday afternoon spent at the Museum. We went for the Hidden Stories of the Silk Roads exhibition, but stayed for the permanent collection and an interesting "Middle Eastern" lunch at the Diwan restaurant, a pleasurable experience from start to finish. There's a lovely community feel to the place despite the elegant but somewhat austere architecture, enhanced by live music performances and a very welcome cup of complimentary mint tea in the lobby.

I have never been but my entire sight seeing family did a day I was sick and everyone loved it so much. Very educational even from hearing what my dad had to say after I would love to and will go myself . I have walked by the architecture for years. Nowadays you can build a pyramid physically and visually proven.

This is a pleasant visit for the family, Sunday’s are good with children as they have some craft activities from 12-4pm. The main exhibition was well laid out and plenty of manuscripts to see. The special exhibition had many beautiful garments. I enjoyed learning Islamic history from Persia, South Asia, China as well as some Christian and Jewish history. Quite amazed by the historical manuscript collection.

The Aga Khan Museum was beautiful and nicely curated. Give yourself at least an hour and a half to go through it, ideally two hours

Very well maintained. A bit expensive. $20 entrance. $10 parking. $10 printed guide. Not really big. About 1& a half hour of viewing. Islamic heritage from around the world displayed here. Good day. Restaurant, gift shop too.

Best museum to visit!!! I would most definitely go there again!!! I recommend this way more than the ROM or any other museum! It is family friendly and really focuses on the Muslim history. The best part is the second floor where the art and ancient pieces come to life (not literally). But my favourite part was the park. It is beautiful in all seasons! The tickets are worth way more than they are! Please visit the Aga Khan Museum whenever you can!

This museum is pretty good. It must be perfect if there will be more and more items on display. I like this place and I recommend you to visit.
I took lots of pics which staffs permitted. Much more things should be visited and discovered.

One of the most refreshing places to satiate the culture vulture. It would be interesting to know how so very diverse musical instruments and artists are brought together to present the well arranged performances we have enjoyed so far. Its great to experience the artistic expression of different cultures, especially when there is such delicate fusion of more than one! Prices are reasonable, ushers friendly and the Park after the show never fails to astound us with its serenity. The auditorium was a little cold, though.

The building and gardens are impressive but it seems to mainly be a wedding venue with a bit of a museum attached.
The permanent collection has some beautiful pieces, but not a large number of them. I didn't get to see the ceramics collection as a wedding party had booked the room and another gallery was closed as it was being setup.
$20 entrance fee and $10 parking (flat rate, no hourly option) was way too much for a 1 hour visit.
I'd advise calling ahead to see if there is a wedding party occupying half of the museum before you visit and getting there by public transit.

On a whim, the wife and I decided to check it out, not wanting to go to the ROM for the umpteenth time. The building itself is absolutely gorgeous! The exhibits were extremely well curated, interesting and informative. Couldn't recommend the Agha Khan Museum enough!

I have been here more than 3 times. They have their private exhibition and standard items which are always there, but they do a great job adding new exhibitions that makes you want to go back! I would definitely suggest visiting this museum if you are in town and are looking for unique middle eastern art works. The staff are very friendly as well.

Visit to the Aga Khan Museum was fabulous. We couldn't visit all floors due to lack of time. There was so much to learn and understand about the Islamic art.. it was just amazing.

Amazing museum, stunning architecture that is as well illuminated as it is grand. Well curated galleries (sometimes a bit wordy in the descriptions, otherwise the content is good.) The collection of ceramics is lovely. Gift shop can be pricey but some interesting things.

Mainly enjoyed the water colour course I took here, which came at a great price of only $100 for 4 classes (each 3 hours, materials provided). Definitely looking forward to seeing what art classes are offered in the future!

The Aga Khan Museum and Ismaili Centre are beautiful both inside and out. This was my second visit. The tour guides are amazing presenters and well informed about the exhibits. Staff is courteous and helpful. Lunch at the restaurant is simply delicious and never disappoints. Will definitely return in the summer and will include a tour of the gardens and surrounding area.
