  Fun hike. Can be quite busy. If you're lucky you'll see a blast at the quarry across the highway.

  Incredible hike, there are only a couple real scrambly bits (the yellow gully being the scariest IMHO), and is mostly a straightforward hike up a mountain / ridgewalk. I definitely recommend doing the loop with Grant MacEwan peak, if only because it is easier to get down that way and you get to bag another peak. Probably not the best hike for a beginner, but definitely a good beginner "scramble".
