It’s that time of year again the first day of fall is Saturday, September 22! Who’s as excited as we are??
My name is Dr. Brad Elgie I was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. I completed my pre-optometry program and optometric degree at the University of Waterloo, graduating from the School of Optometry in 1982. Following graduation, I decided to move to Thunder Bay to join an established optometric group practice. In 1986, I opened my own office where I practiced until 1994 when together with Dr. Ulakovic we established Harbourview Optometry Centre. Outside of work I enjoy skiing, golfing, cycling and spending time with my family both in Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie. I am committed to fulfilling my role as a primary eye care provider to my patients and to the community.

Hi! My name is Aaron Asselstine and I’m one of the Optometrists and partners at Harbourview Optometry Centre. I was born and raised in Thunder Bay. I attended Lakehead University where I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree which then led to the Optometry Program at the University of Waterloo. I was extremely excited when the opportunity to return to my hometown and join Harbourview Optometry Centre was possible. I love this city and all that it has to offer. My lovely wife and I are parents to 2 wonderful children and 1 adorable little Maltese. In my spare time I enjoy camping with my family and friends, golfing, downhill skiing and curling. I look forward to continuing to assist my current patients as well as new patients in the future!
Hi my name is Paul Savioli and I am an Optometrist at Harbourview Optometry Centre. I have worked here for 7 years. Previously, I was in school at the University of Waterloo where I studied Optometry. I am originally for Thunder Bay and I love this city. When I'm not at the office you can find me spending time with my witty girlfriend Gillian, my goofy dog Georgia, and little hellion cat Cleo. When I'm not doing that, you can find me meticulously manicuring my lawn #fertilizemonthly or listening to my favourite band the National #slowshow. Harbourview Optometry Centre is my home away from home. The best part of my job is hanging out with the wonderful staff we have here. I can honestly say I have fun everyday and laugh a lot with my work family.
I have been coming here for many years, and will continue to keep coming! Everyone is always so friendly and professional! Thanks harbourview!
Treated poorly by one of the optometrists I've been seeing for four years! He was rude and belittling! I will return to Harbourview but to a different optometrist! As I do think the receptionists and ladies in the dispensary area area fabulous!
Harborview has the most professional friendly and beautiful ladies in the dispensery and some of the best docs around. Plus a huge selection of Maui Jims!!!
I'll stop in if I ever get back to Thunder Bay! Keep those referrals coming-it keeps me busy!!
