This restaurant is the best Korean restaurant in Burnaby. It is located across the Kingsway from the Metrotown Mazda dealership. They did not serve only original Korean culinary but also Koean style chinese cuisine. Recommend korean style beef barbecue although the price is a little bit heavy, it is affordable to pay.
Caveat, have only been once and I likely ordered the cheapest thing on the menu - the seafood tofu soup at $12.95. Borderline unreasonable for a place that looks like any other Korean restaurant that has the same for less than $10.
It came with rice, a raw egg and approx six of the 'free' dishes (banchan if you really want to impress your Asian date). I asked for the spicy level to be mild and was pleasantly surprised that it was. No ring of fire the next day (Tmi)
Two stars because the service was good albeit slow and the place seemed clean. But I ate a mushroom with that moldy bread taste thus losing my appetite. I didn't finish my dish which is rare for me. I probably should have brought it up to the server but I find Asian restaurants do not care and the server would likely keep it to themselves because they don't want to approach the chef about it. Like most Korean restaurants there is free parking.
The food here is great, and authentic. It explains why it can get extremely busy during peak hours. Been back quite a few times and the has service is always been very good!
Very busy place! Had quite a long wait to get in but all in all it was with the wait.food was great..service was good and attentive staff kept up with replacing new grill when needed i didn't have to ask so that was nice. A but pricey but was very good thoeven my kid enjoyed it! TV kept kids entertained with Korean PoP culturehighly recommended for families and kids and groups of friendsdefinately will be back !!
Wait can be long, parking can be hard to find but I really enjoy the food! The service is kind of hit or miss but they get the job done. If I didn't enjoy the food then I wouldn't come back but food is awesome. Their Galbi is fantastic in my opinion
Went with a korean friend, service was nice and food serving is reasonable with the price.
I told the waitress that we would like to cut and cook our own food, she just ignored me and cut and cooked all of the ribs at once. Idk if this is english problem or she was just rude. Either way not best customer experience
Amazing service , great food and very friendly environment and not too pricy.
My favourite Korean spot in Vancouver. Dumpling are amazing, meat is fresh and the sides are awesome. Call ahead to get reservations though.
Lunch was good, though, a bit on the pricey side. They do not have set lunch boxes like other Korean restaurants. I have been here for dinner BBQ and it is better. Recommend for groups.
Never have had a bad time here. Always have had good service, courteous staff, and great food. Plenty of it for a good value.
A long wait. Service was efficient, wasn't the most warm but definitely efficient with their button system. We ordered combo A with a seafood pancake for 4 people. We all agreed it was worth the price.
Place looked good and has a row of private rooms available. Good was decent and priced reasonably.
The prawn dish we had was gone bad already. It was heavily covered with spicy and sour source so it was hard to tell but I knew something was wrong. After came back home, my parents, my wife and my self got stomachache terribly. I do not recommend this restaurant or at least seafood dish from this restaurant. It was very very bad experience..
Excellent and authentic Korean food. I ordered the meat combo for 4 people and there was plenty of food. They also packaged the appetizer dishes well so there was no leakage in the bag. They also used aluminum foil for takeout to keep our food hot so that was very considerate of them. A bit of wait for takeout (30 minutes) but it was worth it. Adequate amount of utensils and sauce.
