Excellent food! Everything was very fresh and properly homemade. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time!

The beef barley soup was more like a stew. Thick with lots of big chunks of tender beef.

Charming country atmosphere and good service. We will be back!

Service was very very good, food was not great I had the veal cutlets and I've never had veal like that before pretty gross but my dog enjoyed the left over cutlet the other diner with me had the burger it fell apart. Well 50 bucks for lunch we expected way better being they were on a TV show and the bathrooms need an upgrade every 40 yrs or so even in the country.

I am actually still sitting in the restaurant, marvelling with my friends as to how amazing this food was. We got the Eggs Benedict, which I get frequently at restaurants, and I can honestly say this is the best I've ever had. By far. It's on a croissant? Seriously? Best decision ever, so freaking good.

Love this place!! My friends and come to the chuck every year as a tradition. By far the best burger I have ever had with a good helping of fries on the side and priced very reasonably. The banana cream pie is a must have but be sure to order it early because it goes fast

Delicious buttery food! I like the eggs benny, (the ham is my favorite part of the dish) expect long wait times if you are going on a weekend. We went at 10am and waited 40min for a table. The only down side was that the pancakes we ordered for our kids. They tasted great and were huge but the handful of blueberries they put in each one was right in the center so the center of the pancakes just fell apart.

$100 for 4 hamburgers that were very salty and all of us had to eat with forks because the patty fell apart as soon as we picked them up. Confusing menu and they got our order wrong. We could have gone to a steak house in Calgary for steaks and paid less for better food.

This was my second time here. This place has a lot going for it, friendly staff, charming atmosphere and a strong reputation. Unfortunately, their beef is not great, it lacks flavour and a meanginful taste. Just spent $30 on a steak, which we'll end up giving like 40% of it to our dog. Had the burgers last time and they also lacked flavour and a meaningful taste. My wife loved their seafood chowder and their roast beef sandwhich was quite tasty.

We were told about this place so we decided to go and stop by. We walked in and the staff is so friendly. They sat us down at a table and brought us our drinks. The menu is pretty good size. I ordered a burger and my wife got a salad. The burger is probably the best burger I have ever had, the fries were also really good. It's a small little place inside a red barn. You wouldn't know it was there if you weren't looking for it. They are only open until 3 but they say if you walk in at 259 then they are happy to serve you.

Most of the food was good. Like the other patron wrote, the egg whites were runny and the hash browns were drenched in grease. My meal was great and the service was good. Unfortunately, it only takes one bad dish to ruin the experience.

I'm sorry this place is fair from anything to brag about or go out of your way for. The food is bland and basic but not worth 5 stars. The cooks lack talent and can't cook eggs properly. The potatoes are like slop. Over priced for what you get. The server I had was rather miserable and lacked manners. I actually feel sorry for people who think highly of the food served here. If you want a good breaky come on over, I'll show you what's good ;)

With my old job I would eat at The Chuckwagon a lot. I would take out of country clients there all the time. With my new job I have not been in years. I stopped by today asa treat and it was wonderful. Love this place.

An absolute must if you like a great breakfast restaurant. An awesome place to go for a first date. Beautiful drive. Wonderful food! I cannot say enough about this place. Be prepared to wait to get a table. But it is well worth it!
