We made reservations but arrived about an hour early and we were able to sit at the bar and order a drink and then they sat us at our table 45 minutes early. The drinks were really good and very reasonably priced. We ordered the meat lover's combo for 2 and we loved it. The experience of cooking the food was really fun and it was all very tasty. We also ordered gyoza for an appetizer which were also really good. The server was also very good. The waiter was there whenever we needed things and explained how everything worked including how to cook things to our liking. We will definitely go here again.

Great service! Our server Jay is very knowlegeable, friendly and provide luxury service. Same with the host Christine - she’s great too. The quality of food is excellent and reasonably priced :)

I've been coming to this restaurant for 3 years and the quality is always great. Customer service is amazing, good food at a very reasonable rate. They also have a points system that rewards you with free food! Overall, very happy everytime I leave this place. 10/10

So tasty! A little pricey (100 bucks between two people), but definitely worth it. Everything tasted amazing, there is a good selection of drinks, and there was food left over at the end of the night. Staff were friendly. Would recommend.

We love coming to this place! We usually get the Samurai combo (for 4 people) and it's more than enough food. Great place to bring friends for a fun dinner, or even clients from out of town.

Really fun experience! The food was so good! A friend and I shared the Geisha set meal, highlights were the filet mignon, tuna tatami appetizer and garlic shrimp. The staff were so great and really friendly. Interesting cocktails and a good atmosphere. Highly recommended to try at least once

A unique and different take on BBQ. Place is super busy- would highly recommend making reservations here as sometimes there is a long lineup. Their combos are pretty good, value for money. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Food is very fresh and tasty. Place is clean, just needs more lighting.

Came here for lunch and ordered the combo for 2. Top quality meat, delicious seasoning, and overall amazing experience. I much prefer this over all you can eat. Helpful staff taught us how we should cook based on our preferences. My favorite was the thin beef, definitely recommend to check this place out!

A fine place for lunch with a decent happy hour. The service was good but it was pretty packed so there was a small wait. My only advice is stay away from the happy hour sake mixers. They're overly sweet drinks that don't have much alcohol in them. It's an easy way to push up your bill without any benefit.

I am obsessed with this place! They have this one sauce that is just amazing! If I knew the recipe I would dip everything I make in it! Also the service is really good, they are super fast and very diligent in replacing your grill if it gets too burnt. The food is delicious! I go here with my friends all the time!

Really good food here with a very affordable price. Have to book for dinner as they get really busy, esp. during happy hour. Definitely would come here again if/when I come back to Vancouver. 🥘🍲🥗🍜🍱🍙🍣🍤🍶

Food and service was good. You have a small BBQ on your table and cook your own food which makes it a fun and enjoyable activity. Prices are reasonable, coming to about $30 per person.
I highly recommend getting a reservation about a week in advance as the wait for walk-ins is extremely long often more than one hour!response / report this review -

Consistency is the key and they nail it.
Tips: "crunchy garlic + scallions sauces" are amazing compliment to the bbq. It took me a long time to discover them. I don't use the three regular sauces they provide. They are like a dollar each. Great place to go with large parties and friends. I think it's just all together fun. The service was perfect! They were not afraid to check in with our party of 10 multiple times during the evening. Roasting your own s'mores for dessert was quirky and fun. The only one reason why it's a four star is because I feel that some of the ingredients could be fresher. Regardless, I enjoyed my time here and would definitely be returning.
