If you have any knowledge of even decent quality sushi/fish, then you'll be incredibly disappointed. Waste of money

I have never left a sushi place before feeling like I wish I had never walked in it. The food had no taste, the tuna sushi was an off orange when it came to the table not a healthy red. Ordered a roll and couldn't even find the fish that was supposed to be in it.
One nice thing about this restaurant is they have good hot tea and when I asked for sweeteners they offered a very good local honey that was a pleasant surprise.response / report this review -

Food is great, we come here every 6 months when we come to Dawson creek. Service is usually pretty good but this time I was still chewing my food and at 8:50 the waitress/owner(?)Put our bill on the table! There was another table eating too and he had just got his food. They had us out of there at 9 on the dot for closing time. I have never in my life been pushed out of a restaurant for closing time. Didn't ask if we wanted anything else, dessert coffee and cleared our plates as soon as the last piece of sushi was picked up! Debatable if we go back.

The food is great, however, if you place a pickup order be ready to wait. I've gone here twice and both times their estimate of 25 minutes was way off. Today I waited over an hour for my order. No consideration was given for the long wait.

Good quality sushi at a fair price. The portions on the special rolls are large, thought it was pricey when looking at the menu but the size of the roll are big. Everything was very tasty, would go again.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and mostly, the delicious and well presented sashimi dishes. Recommend this place to anyone that enjoys good Japanese food. Thank you for making the evening so pleasant as we came through Dawson Creek.

I work on the road and always try to seek out little gems like this place. This place is indeed a gem. I've been here three times in about eight days now. Brought buddies from work the second time and they loved it too. I've had few different rolls now, the Spider roll is delicious. A couple i had were heavy on the mayo, which I'm not a huge fan of, but im sure you could request no mayo. The staff are great and so is the service. The salmon nigiri MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH. So delicious for not being on the coast.

This place is CLEAN as you will notice when you walk in. If you visit the washroom you will be impressed, seriously.
Staff was very inviting and friendly to deal with, helpful also with suggestions.
The menu had a good variety of sushi, Thai food and some Chinese.
Once ordered, the food arrived quickly and was hot. Presentation was nice and confirmed you made a good choice. Flavor's were great and I enjoyed every bite. My co-workers and I ended up sharing each others choices because everyone's meals were very appealing.
I would highly recommend this restaurant!
