Great View from an amazing deck that overlooked the lake. The water was warm. I would come back.

Green Acres is pretty magical. The cabins are charming and a perfect landing point for exploring the island. They were clean and comfortable, and we loved the wood fireplace. Randy the manager is friendly, attentive and always available.

Although the cabins are older than the new log cabins, they have the best views and big windows facing the lake.

    Can't wait to come back!

Our family has spent a full week at Green Acres every August for the past seven years. It has always been wonderful. Randy and Shinobu are super-friendly, the beach-side location is idyllic, and the many near- and on-water amenities (including table tennis, volleyball, kayaks, rowboats, paddle boards and paddle boats, etc.) all come for free. Yes, some of the old cabins are rather rustic, whereas the newer ones - though further back from the beach - are modern and very attractive. If rustic isn't for you, ask for one of the newer cabins or perhaps look elsewhere. Ah, but if what you're looking for is a safe, secluded, comfortable summer lakeside resort that is a bit of a throwback to the past, Green Acres won't disappoint. There are organized child-friendly activities (such as a tie-dye day, a good old-fashioned singalong night with marshmallow smores around a campfire and a beach-movie night). There are friendly people, barbeques on the balconies and a laid-back atmosphere. A heartfelt thanks, Randy, for so many happy memories over the years!

We loved this little cabin in paradise!!! My best friend and i went here for a girls night in Sept and loved it so much that we dicided to take our partners here for New Years! The staff is so accomodating and friendly. They have so many things to do here as well. You can Kayak , Canoe, paddleboard, play pingpong, and the list goes on! Then you can go back to your rustic little cabin and cozy in with the woodstove! We are from now on, regulars!!!! Thanks Green Acres!!!!!!
