Great place to a get away. Super nice and quiet, away from the normal business of a city. Nice clean cabins, more like houses. The Perch is more modern than the Cabin and has a ramp so it's wheelchair friendly. They have all the normal amenities of a typical house but in a great forest location on an ocean inlet. 100% coming back.
Very beautiful, secluded cabin on the water. The cabin itself was lovely with the wrap-around deck, loft bedroom, and all the amenities needed from the BBQ to the next morning coffee! I would definitely stay there again and can't wait until I do!
Heaven on Earth! Perfect place for relaxation and enjoying the beautiful nature.
Love this place. Kathy was the best hostess! She gave us everything we required to make our anniversary wonderful which included a lot of privacy, solitude and peacefulness. We will will definitely return. Wish I was there right now! The hikes nearby rock too!
Very nice, relaxing, and secluded little cabin on the water. It's fully furnished, including a fully functional kitchen and BBQ. There's even a wood burning furnace, with a large supply of wood out back. My wife and I really enjoyed the loft style of the house, since it's something we're not at all used to. The bedroom upstairs is beautiful, and has a terrific bathtub right in it very cool for a romantic time. There's a short path leading down to the water. There's not exactly a beach front down there, but it's nice just the same. Would be a good place chill for a while, or for kids to play around in the water. It's astonishing how much of a difference the tide makes at low tide, the bay is completely drained of water! I spoke briefly with Kathleen, and she seemed very nice and responsive. The only small negative things I have to say about the place is the path from water you park the car to the cabin is a bit on the steep side. It was a bit of a chore going up and down. Not a big deal for most people, but could be a bit of an issue for people with limited mobility. Also, because the parking spot was so small, it was kind of a pain to back out you have to reverse for about 30 meters up the driveway path until there's a spot big enough to turn around in. But overall, the negatives were very minor, and we really enjoyed our stay.
