We love this campground. We have come here for extended stays 3 years in a row. It is like an oasis in the dessert.
And the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The grounds are always being worked on and so they are very well maintained.

Read some of the other reviews. We found Gas City campground peaceful, the RV sites are a nice size, firepit is a little close to your RV, but overall it was good. Bathrooms were clean, and had 2 nice sized shower stalls, at no extra cost. I also read that some of the other people who did reviews were commenting about rude staff, maybe these people were rude to the staff first. As for tics, treat your pets before you go camping. There's no guarantee that there are no bugs, of any kind. Unless of course you live in a bubble. I know we will camp here again.

I would recommend to all fellow campers. We just needed to stop for the night. Was very clean,quiet,great view, well kept. We will be back.

Very impressive. We stayed during 30+c and it was relatively cool with all the trees. Hugh lots, park was perfect and kids were playing (bonus) basketball hoop on Paved road. In front of entrance is a magnificent walking trail along a valley bend. And Medicin Hat new solar panels with info site. Price acceptable no add ons ie kids. And showers free and hot.

We love staying here. We are right now. But.. there's been no paper towel in the bathroom for over 24 hours. The lock on the 1 bathroom stall has been broken for over a year. And there are no hooks in the shower stalls. This is only in the unserviced bathroom. Why are the other bathrooms better? Why is this bathroom neglected? We pay good money and expect good service all around please.

Beautiful.💕. Great service and very pleasant reception desk. We lucked out on a cancelation and she booked us right away. Nice large sites lots of room will certainly recommend to other campers and hope to return here again on our travels. Hint best to reserve your spot in the high camping season. ☺

Lovely little place on the hill, very close to all amenities and even closer to the South Sask river if fishing is in your forté.

Spent the night Sept 16-Sept 17 at site 20 (power only) which is located in the S/W corner of the campground.
Positive: beautiful sunset, next to off-leash dog area, bathroom/shower building 50' away.

Nice campground but they can't/don't enforce their own rules. Quiet time is 10 PM. I let the party next door to my tent go until 11:30 then called the police. They came for a visit but the party resumed after the police left. There were 6 vehicles parked at the spot in the morning and enough empties to fund my kid's college education. I complained at the office and asked for a refund in the morning. No dice. They were just "sorry".

This was a pleasant release after a pressure packed road trip. After spending hours in a car we were all very combustible so stopping here was a breath of fresh air.
Overall our stay was great. Found the location to be a bit windy and an unusual amount of blowhards from Saskatchewan there but they were quickly expelled. We were blown away by the experience, just be careful to avoid ticks which are silent but very deadly.response / report this review
