Great place to camp. Busy place so make reaervarions. Nice large sites and clean.

Elkwood campground is beautiful. In fact the whole Peter Lougheed Provincial park is absolutely world class. Lots of paved biking trails, good hiking trails etc. There is an amphitheatre at Elkwood that puts on an excellent family rated show every evening. Our campsite was very clean, and with all the trees it seemed very private as well. Will come back again and again!

What a wonderful campground in the beautiful Kananaskis Country. Well maintained facilities and lots of activities to do around this campground.

They charge a $12 "reservation fee" on a $26 campsite. And the fee applies double if you have to book two different sites, because you are switching sites between nights due to availability constraints

Awesome spot. Great lots, reasonably quiet. Very, very tall trees so not a ton of sunlight all the time, but it's mountain camping, so shouldn't expect too much anyway! Will definitely go back!

Beautiful. The manager and his wife are very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are great. City water and power, and clean flush toilets and coin operated showers. Firewood available for sale. Nice clean and spacious lots.

We had to be helicopter out due to the rain and snow in flooding but when it opens I will be back it is a beautiful place you can't not want to go back to cheers to that whole crew up there that week.: )))
