Occasional chairs are more than just a place to land "on occasion". It visually balances the overall design of the space as well as gives an opportunity to create an additional point of interest by introducing colour, texture and/or pattern without it being too overwhelming. Bay Street Condo project by Egoist Design. A palette of neutral tones and a personal collection of black-and-white prints served as a backdrop for accent colour. Our contractor called these oval drop ceiling elements "eggs" early in the shop-drawing stage and everyone involved in the project refers to them as such ever since then. Makes me smile, especially because the installation of the second layer was completed just in time for Easter! #egoistdesign #exclusivehomebuilders
