  Even if you're unsure of how to proceed with assisting a customer you don't charge them money, and then leave them high and dry when the same problem you were paid to fix was unresolved. Extremely unprofessional!
  
  If the job is above you, at least offer additional insight and guide your customer in the right direction.
  
  My friend was recommended Duke of York Electric and based on their experience.Waste of time and money.would never recommend

  Hands down one of the worse experiences I have had in the trades. My in-laws had what seemed to have been a very quick fix circuit issue which Kyle came to address. It took roughly an hour to fix and he priced us an astonishing $250. Amidst COVID and the risks, without resistance we decided to just respectfully pay it as the issue was finally resolvedor so we thought. Moments later, exact same issue is back and his band-aid solution failed. As we now reach out, we are being told we have to yet again pay for him to come and it can be anywhere from $250 upwards again, won't even offer a fixed rate or any adjustments being that THEY DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING.
  
  DO NOT use this company. They are frauds, they are conniving, they are complete trash. Save yourself hundreds of dollars and go with more reliable companies. If I could, I would give them a 0 star rating. I could've honestly done the same quality of work myself, the work is garbage.

  Seeing that we came across Duke of York Electric as a referral, the incomplete service provided was extremely disappointing. Not only that, but the lack of professionalism from Kyle in advising us to find someone else to do the job was unbelievable after having already paid a hefty price for his "diagnosis". Poor customer service. Poor work ethic overall. Would never recommend.

  WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND! My family was, and STILL IS experiencing an electrical issue in their home.
  Kyle over at Duke of York Electric comes by the house, charges $250 for an issue that was never even resolved. Now when asked about when Kyle would be coming back to readdress and resolve the issuehis response has indicated that he has no interest in coming back to solve the issue and they should find someone else instead. Out $250 and the problem still continues. Planning on passing the word to anyone I know who may be looking to get electrical work done to stay FAR AND CLEAR from Duke of York Electrical. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

  Working with Kyle was pleasant from the moment we connected. I immediately noticed his professionalism and felt that the quote he gave us was very reasonable. He installed an outdoor outlet receptacle for us and it's been working out very well. He also cleaned up nicely after he did all the work! Which I really appreciated. I've heard before of contractors who leave a mess, but Duke of York Electric is not at all like that.
  What I particularly liked about working with Kyle was how patient he was in answering all my questions and explaining everything he was going to do and how it works. His communication was fantastic, and he did a great job. I'm no electrical expert, so hiring someone I could trust was of utmost importance. If you hire him, you won't be disappointed. But after a quick phone call, you'll just know what I mean. 10/10 would hire him again and recommend him to others.
