Fast, friendly and professional service. I highly recommend!
We have a family member with a compromised immune system and I was told on the phone by the lovely Laura that they were absolutely taking precautions and would be willing to work with out needs. Chadwick came prepared with mask and gloves and worked quickly and cleanly. I felt very safe having the work done! They helped us out in an emergency and we couldn't be happier!

AMAZING! I have had other electrical contractors and companies visit my house over the years and none of them are as good as the Shock Doctors. Professional, punctual, polite. And boy! Do they know their stuff!! I have aluminum wiring and many companies won't even touch it. The Shock Doctors did an "aluminum rejuvenation" technique that involves these little adaptors for every single receptacle, switch, and light fixture in my house. They even replaced our old "wired" smoke alarms with new 10-year-permanent-battery combo units for fire & CO2. The ESA inspector must have been impressed with their work because he said they clearly know what they are doing. Very happy dealings with Lara, Chadwick, and Jonathan!! Thank you to everyone.

Over charged me. Replaced two light switches (a single and a double) and charged me $320. I complained however they said that was their rates.

Now I could have got $20 off if I chose to pay another $360 plus tax and become a club member. A shock doctor club member. Who though up that.

Shock doctors testimonial

We have had some 'less than perfect' electricians to our house in the past and then last year we brought in Chad from The Shock Doctors in Orillia. From the first contact, he was very accommodating with an appointment time, to punctual arrival, and a courteous walk-through the house, inspecting our electrical system. Chad even used booty covers to keep our floors clean. Then he described the problem in detail, gave us a well detailed estimate and stuck to it upon completion of the job. We were upgraded from 60 amp to 100 amp system! And they gave us a discount coupon for future work. Later he and another colleague came to bail us out on a Sunday afternoon power outage. They spent an hour diagnosing our problem. Since we joined The Shock Doctors reward program, we didn't even have to pay for the service call.
Great people to work with! Owner Cheri Carman sends out monthly informative newsletters, and they very dependable. We would recommend them to anyone in need of electrical repair or upgrading of their service.

Thank you to The Shock Doctors who are always available to answer my call for assistance no matter how small or large the project is. I can count on them to provide sound advice for my electrical needs and to leave the worksite safer than they found it. Additionally, they return quickly to fix something that did not turn out quite right. And they will do their work with care to prevent mess or clean it up thoroughly afterward, unlike many other contractors. I have 100% confidence and trust in them for advice and implementation.
