  So, so cute. Couldn't be better situated to go for walks along the shore path, the park in front, or the really attractive village center some 5-6 blocks in from the sea. The room is clean, attractively decorated and painted, bed is comfortable, ample with quality bedding, and the wifi signal is strong. Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was excellent. I had fresh fruit, rye toast with a very tasty strawberry jam, and vanilla Greek yogurt. The menu provides choices enough for something different each morning of our stay. Should I return to Victoria I shall try to stay at Dashwood Manor again.

  Location to the park can't be beat, breakfast was absolutely amazing, rooms were cozy and charming. All around great stay. A bit pricey but perhaps it was because of the prime time weekend booking :P

  Lovely views of the sea boat traffic right across the street. Nice breakfasts; lovely staff and Michael and Dave could not have been nicer in helping plan activities. Beautiful gardens surrounding the Inn.
  
  Dog park across the street- off leash. Fun to watch the dogs interaact.

  There is no way I can begin to describe the majesty of this place. Right on the ocean front walking distance from victoria government buildings. The staff was super friendly and made some of the best waffles to date.

  David and Michael were wonderful hosts! Room was spacious and well appointed with period furniture pieces and even the soft music in the parlor and dining room was in keeping with the home's history. Breakfast both days was sumptuous - you guys outdid yourselves! The home is located across the street from an off-leash dog park along the bay. Being dog lovers, we were thrilled. But even if you are not a dog lover, the dogs were well behaved and trained and everyone was most gracious. Thank you Michael and David for a wonderful stay and all your help!! Marian and Bob

  We ditched the kids in San Diego to spend several days in Canada. Dave was a gracious host, welcoming and friendly. The fantastic house sits right on the water with super views. As purely a matter of taste for us, we didn't care for the jacuzzi tube right in the room, but, again, that's very subjective. Extra comfy bed and just a nice place to relax and watch the dogs and their humans out the big bay window. Really added to our stay in Victoria. If we ever return we will definitely call on the Dashwood Manor.
