Cozy room and nice pool but the change room was dirty like public pool. Internet was frustrating as it drops connection unexpectedly. Fantastic view and golf course (if you're into it)

Overall the rooms are a nice size and clean and the staff are generally helpful. The suites are much nicer. They allow pets which is rare. The concierge Stephen is amazing and so helpful. The restaurant used to be amazing (back in 2014-2015), but now is hit and miss - sometimes it's amazing and sometimes it isn't. The holiday buffets are always fabulous (we have Christmas dinner there almost every year). My family stays here for vacations while we live close and visit the restaurant and facilities. Realize it's a good drive from the city, so if you're visiting to do things downtown, it's a drive. However, if you like hiking or golf, are looking for a quiet retreat with a spa and peace, this is your hotel. It also allows you to drive downtown, out to Sooke, or up the Malahat much easier than a hotel downtown.

Beautiful, exquisite! Absolutely fantastic place to stay in Vancouver Island! Just a few minutes out of Victoria, BC. 5 Stars Facilities! All amenities in perfectly pristine conditions! Beautiful Bear Mountain! Excellent restaurants and most of all, fabulous golf! A must for anyone visiting the Island!

The room I stayed in was spacious and lovely. It was on the third floor and the view from the balcony was gorgeous; you could see the golf course and mountains so clearly. The food was a little pricey for what you get but there is a great restaurant named Jack's one minute away which is quite nice.

Awesome resort facility in Victoria on Vancouver Island. We were out up in a suite, but the overall experience was Serene and calm. Rooms are a bit on the older side, but everything was clean and orderly. One minor thing is that the card readers often take 2-3 tries for them to work, but not a huge issue or anything.

Our 2 night stay was very enjoyable. The facility is beautiful and very well maintained. All staff we delt with were friendly and helpful. Our room was large and very clean. The room was 1st class in every respect from size, decor and function. Beds were very comfortable. The view off of balcony was great. Very nice swimming pool and hot tub. Pool was set at 80.5 F and hot tub was at 101 F. We will definitely come back again.

Service is second to none. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are spacious and clean. If you get the golf course view, it's the best view in the hotel. Many options for food near and in the hotel. They are all great.

A very nice place to stay. I was on a business trip. I used the golf facilities and the exercise room. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. All in all, a pleasurable experience with no negatives.

Beds were nice and building was new and well kept. Pretty far out from the city which bis both a plus and a minus. The pool and fitness club is great. So stay here if you can get a room for less than 200 all in

Decently sized suites. Full kitchens. Heated pool was closed part of the first day of our stay but was nice once it was open. It's a short cold walk outside to the separate gym/pool facilities building that is also shared with the public.
