I purchased a town home in Edmonton where Coast was responsible for all installation. Nearly every appliance was improperly installed and required service. The over the range microwave wasn't even supported by a stud and could've easily fallen off the wall had the repairman not noticed it when he came to fix the defective microwave. Dishwasher was missing a gasket. Fridge had been scraped across the laminate. Absolutely horrendous.

terrible service from this place. completely wasted our time by making us book an appointment to view optional upgrades, then made us wait half an hour. only used coast because our builder used them. they claimed no stock on the standard appliance we paid for with our home and offered a free "upgrade," although the upgrade was actually $50 cheaper than the standard in every other store. pretty sleazeball! won't spend another dime here. oh & our stacked washer dryer doors are installed so they open reverse from each other. really guys?

I've only had one experience and it was through a builder. Was not at all happy at the markup. They thought they had me over a barrels due to the builder Crummy business practices.

The builder recently sent me to this place for appliance selection. The lady gave me the first quote and I also asked her to write down all the credits I can get for the standard appliances (I feel lucky I asked her to do this). For all the upgrades, I still have about $500 unused credits left, so I asked the lovely lady how I can get the credits. She told me to ask the builder. I did so, but the builder obvious try to play the game too and told me the quote should have used all the credits. I got confused and asked the lady to contact the builder directly and explain I still have unused credits. She really talked to builder but I don't what was the conversation between them. The lady sent a new quote and she said she broke down all the credits. However, I was shocked to see that in the revised quote, she is cheating!!! She added some items she said before I could't get credits including freight fee and over range. Obviously she didn't do a fake job carefully. Even she increases the wall oven with $20 which can help to make up the total same price! She said this revised quote is all credit breakdown but she forgot modify a freight fee of which description is still"allowance included". Also the total credits she revised is even $100 more than the credits she wrote down on the first quote. Bad math! We feel so frustrated for this experience. This behaviour is totally unacceptable!

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY TO BUY FROM. We purchased a new dryer from Coast as our builder recommended them. We now have a dryer that has had 7 service calls and they refuse to replace it. They have wasted countless hours of time waiting for them. Their tech also said they didn't know what the issue was. Total insanity. At this point they have spent 4x what the dryer is worth in sending out technicians. I will NEVER shop there again. I would rather go to Home depot to get better service.

I went to this store to buy a new washer. I've never bought a washer before so didn't know all the details I needed to know. The salesperson seemed rather annoyed to have to deal with me. He seemed annoyed I didn't know exactly what I wanted (model number etc.). I ended up going to another retailer and got a better price and much better service.
