Service here was great, wine was delicious, a little pricey but still delicious. Food was okay, pizza base I had was a bit burnt but their home made bread and olives they brought round were fantastic. Enough so that me and my partner came back two days later

The Chianti here is AMAZING! Service is quick and personable. I had two sparkling sangria's. One was perfect and the other was so-so. Guess they randomise the wine used.

Took a third trip to Cibo - Yorkville last night and they never disappoint. Our server (Christian) was fantastic and catered to our needs willingly. (Even with a picky eater and changed orders), the manager (Allessandro) also took the time out of a busy evening to introduce himself and make sure our party was happy. Just a great team at this restaurant and I will surely be back soon!

Food was great, but service not so much. Server not seen again after our food was brought until we asked for her. We would have had more drinks but couldn't get them. Great attention to detail with the delicious menu.

Everything was great for my first visit.
Appetizers arrived quickly and food was brought shortly after. The waiter paid attention to when we needed refills our our plates taken away.
Everything tasted great. And it's walking distance from the subway.
It's a nice location to just walk around after or before visiting the restaurant.

Place is upscale and nice , but service is really slow! Food is presented well, but salty. Maybe stick to apps and wine, you're safe with that.

Great food and locale, but the service is lacking. On the first visit (we were a group of 5 ladies), our server was slow, distant, and he seemed as if he could not get away from our table fast enough. Had to bite my tongue not to call the manager over! On my second visit, the waitress, again, paid little attention to our table. Would visit again for the food, hoping for a "third time's the charm" in service!!

Half price wine on Thursdays! This place is a fantastic date spot or a fun place to hang out with friends. Walking distance from the subway, and right in the heart of Yorkville. The food is slightly expensive, but delicious.

The pasta is hard and uncooked. The meatballs taste like imitation meat. It's almost as if they popped open a Kraft Dinner in the kitchen. I do NOT recommend going here, at least for pasta. The ambience is nice, but I could get just as good Kraft Dinner for 3$, no point in paying ten times the price.

Went to the Yorkville location last night to celebrate my birthday. It's a nice restaurant but nothing really different stood out on the menu. Everything was so salty. I ordered the seafood pasta which was like eating a mouthful of salt. Sent it back and got a pizza instead, still salty but I sucked it up. My mom sent back her gnocchi - she could make it better with her eyes closed. And they looked like they'd been sitting out for 10 minutes in the pass. Felt bad for the server because he was actually very accommodating. Disappointing but the wine and company were good!

Upscale atmosphere. We went in a large group (7 people) and they easily accomodated us. The bread was perfect. All dishes were cooked to perfection. Speed of service may depend on the night you go, we got lucky by going at a less busy time. Their take on fries is interesting and definitely worth a try. Highly recommended the pizzas, I had the Fungi mushroom pizza with truffle oil and it was amazing. All of the dessert options were good and worth a try.

They were offering all you can eat buffet for 35 CAD per person. Food was very good and a lot of choices but a bit overpriced. Service was very nice and nice setting. They baked bread onsite and this was a cool feature. There was an option to have a pizza or pasta but the end result was not exceptional. Generally we had a very good time. One star missing is for the price that could have been more reasonable in the 25-30 range

Great atmosphere but the service was not what I expected. The waitress decided to take her own tip she took $12. I wouldn't mind but all we had was 2 glass of wine which we got from the bar..I'm sure she really needed the $$

Went for a friend's birthday, the hostess sat us without asking if we had a reservation so my friend received an email saying she missed her reservation and was asked to explain. Service was slow and below par given the price of the menu. Food and wine were both good.
