Getting Chef Lekker to cater our wedding was the perfect decision. He is an incredible chef, phenomenally easy to work with and brings with him an excellent team. I am South African and my new husband is Canadian. He tailor made a menu that reflected both countries, reflecting our union in the food we enjoyed. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is now our go-to person for any events we may need to cater in the future.

Happy to recommend Chef Lekkar and his team. Wouter and Brae delivered a well-planned and well-received standup dinner service for nearly 30 in our small home. The price was competitive and Wouter offered plenty of flexibility with the menu ideas. He left our kitchen cleaner than he found it and everyone enjoyed the selections. Being a standup service, it was important that all the dishes were easily hand-held. Some were in takeout style noodle boxes, others in edible shells, all were easy to enjoy. Thank you.

Great service, unbelievable food and he was very kind and accommodating. Listened to our needs of certain foods to be gluten free, and vegan. His assistants were also great. Looking forward to having another celebration with his food!

*Twins 50th Birthday Backyard Party for 35*
Chef Lekker did not disappoint! We found him online and were impressed with his favourable reviews. He was incredibly easy to work with: responsive, accommodating, friendly and calm as a cucumber! His attention to detail and extensive menu choices made him the perfect choice. The day of the event was well prepared for and executed flawlessly. He selected an excellent server for us, ‘Bry’ who was professional, personable, and a true ‘addition’ to the party. Guests loved his food, my personal favourite was the pork tenderloin bites with blue cheese and pear and the mini ‘rosti’ tops (shredded potato, Swiss, smoked salmon and sour cream). Every dish was presented with attention to detail. He estimated the perfect amount of food and even added a dish at the last minute to make sure he didn’t disappoint. We had Chef Lekker over for our staff party, after hearing about his service from friends. The party was a great success and the food was exquisite. Besides cooking all the food, he also served it. My favourite was the tuna ceviche and mini beef wellington. He was a great asset to our party and will use him for future business events and parties.
