  Open, natural, boating and fishing allowed. Can get very windy. Very few picnic tables and a couple of benches, but view is amazing.

  The campground is kept very neat and tidy and the bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen for an outhouse. Country Cookhouse has amazing burgers and friendly service.

  Chain Lakes Provincial Park is open all year round. There also is camping year round, though the water and sani-station are only open for the May Long Weekend until September 30. Always check albertaparks.ca and search for Chain Lakes Provincial Park before you head out.

  It's a beautiful campground really good fishing, but it can get super windy and they do not allow any fires not even propane! For that reason it gets a 1 camping is not camping without a fire sorry!

  The only thing great about this place is the bathrooms and the trails. The bathrooms are extremely clean and the trails are very nice, but that's where it stops. Our site contained garbage from other campers, including a fishhook. The communal fire pits were not stocked daily, as the site manager told us they were. All there was for wood was 5 pieces of wood for the day and if you ran out, no one will come restock if you ask. We had to go to different firepits and get our own wood. Take my advice, find another campsite to take your family.
