Solid selection of beer on tap, friendly staff, clean washrooms, and good food prices. There's a few tables around a fireplace and a nice cozy patio section. Darts and trivia round out the entertainment.

Update: after several visits, the food is still good as is the service.

I was hoping to find a pleasant local pub. What I found was a generic-feeling watering hole. From the outside, it looks like a country pub, but inside it loojs like a converted restaurant. The music was loud at first, but they turned it down soon after our arrival. As much as the atmosphere was uninspiring, their signature burger was, to my palate, excellent. If only there was some character to the place, it could be a great local.

Not a bad place. I should use it as a local hang out more. Prices were not that bad either. It's a pub and isn't trying to be more than that. I can really appreciate that.

Keep your expectations moderate and you won't be disappointed. It's an average pub - the draw is for those who live in the neighbourhood. Always nice to have a spot you can come to that's walking distance.

We negotiated with this pub for our small baseball league to use this as our "after game" pub. Our season is 14 weeks long and would bring up to 60 people in who had never been here. Most teams stopped coming because the service was terrible - every time we had to ask for our promised discount, there were never team specials as promised, and were denied our discount and argued with twice, despite having it in writing that we had an agreement. I understand miscommunication with staff but only one server was ever not rude about it. Our final wrap up, we made a reservation for 50 + people, which is a lot of extra business. It was reconfirmed the day before, but we arrived to no specials as promised, no DISCOUNT as promised (while we had been denied in the past because our group was "too small" (never mentioned by the manager), not enough serving staff, this time the server deemed us "too big", despite a negotiated discount in place.) Some food took TWO HOURS to come out - one person finally cancelled her food at 9pm and went home. We were told to get our own water as our server had "no time", not a big deal but it was the rude delivery. I was grateful that they didn't add a mandatory gratuity as no one was deserving, except for the kitchen staff, who were clearly not staffed appropriately. The food was consistently pretty good over the season, but the service was mostly terrible. So, sports teams - don't use this place. And they lost 60 people who will never come back here on our own.

Went in on a somewhat busy Saturday Evening. A fair handful of tables were empty, but had not been bussed. Once I found a table, it took a good 15 minutes for a server to even notice my existence. That should have been a sign. I ordered a Burger and a drink; however a good 15 minutes later when I approached my server for a water (which took a half hour and several additional requests to arrive), I was informed that they were out of Burgers, and that she would bring me a menu. Another 15 minutes later I get my menu, shortly followed by my Burger.

Burger was alright, and the same goes for the fries. Took ages to get my check; however the prices were quite reasonable.

Overall, it looked like the people there were enjoying themselves, but don't come here if you are in any kind of hurry, and plan for your trip to take AT LEAST twice as long as you think it will.

Very pleasantly surprised by the excellent food. I loved the jambalaya and others all raved about their meals. Casual, inexpensive, very attentive waitress - very very good

Close to home for me, so no problem with drinking and driving. Come on down for some great food and saucy servers, good times!

The staff are always friendly, good pub food, and they often have live music on Fridays in the summer. Mostly locals, nice quiet and laid back atmosphere, pool table and darts, lots of TVs.
