The staff at Bruce's are great. We've purchased several bikes from them now. The staff are knowledgeable and professional. The bike mechanics there are like gods when it comes to service and knowledge. Low turnover of staff as well. Be prepared to spend money if you go here though because the prices are high; however, you are getting really good quality stuff there.

Quite a good bike shop. They have a wide variety of bikes, parts and accessories. The staff is also quite friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. One thing to keep in mind is that this store is quite expensive. Overall, I'd say that I am quite satisfied with the store, its products and its service.

Well I've tried writing this review a few times but google keeps deleting it when I leave the app.

I've taken my bike to Bike Doctor and Bike Universe with less than stellar experiences at both. After my bike was stolen I was unaware of Bruce's existence and them being a Specialized dealer so went to Bike Doctor and decided on the Marin San Rafael DS 3. It is a very nice bike but the pre sale "tune-up" missed a glaring problem with the shifter. This was late fall so decided I would wait till this spring to resolve the issue as I thought it must be a problem with the design. After all, how could a place called Bike Doctor not catch a problem with the shifter?

Well this spring arrived and I brought my retrieved Specialized bike and brand new Marin bike to Bruce's in hopes that they could fix the still unknown problem with the shifter and get the stolen bike back from the brink of being recycled. The Specialized bike was always good (until the meth addicts started tinkering with it), but is like new after I was notified that I should change the tires and break pads (things I figured needed to be changed but thought the experts at Bike Doctor and Bike Universe would know better). Was going to completely get rid of my Marin bike but now that the shifter is fixed it is my new favourite bike, and my partner is taking the Specialized bike instead of purchasing a new one.

Have nothing bad to say about Bruce's and pretty much everything bad to say about the other named bike shops. Not only are they down to earth and actually want you to be back on your properly functioning bike, their shop is competitively priced (like Walmart/can tire competitive) and you don't feel like you are being gouged for going to a bike shop. Will never go back to Bike Doctor, Bruce's is all you need.

And to the one star reviewer, maybe don't leave your bike out and uncovered when it is raining in the day then freezing at night. A lot can happen after 3 weeks to a bike and I wouldn't expect anybody to make up for my lack of care or responsibility for a bike.

Went in looking for spin shoes. The staff was very helpful. I found a pair of great shoes and they were very reasonably priced! I definitely will shop here again.

These people really love what they do and it shows. Their product is the best, their service is above great and their pricing on service is incredible. I had a bike in yesterday to have a tire repaired new tube and labour was under $25. One of the best businesses I have ever dealt with. If you need a bike or service you'd be crazy to go anywhere else.
