We stayed here for a night summer of 2016. A very nice treed site, shady and private. Short walk to the 'swimming hole', and another short walk to the incredible Sutherland Falls.

Nice campground with plenty of privacy. There is a very nice walk to the heritage homestead. The only issue were the mosquitoes, bring lots of bug spray.

Had a great experience camping here. Staff were friendly and camp sites were big and private. Beautiful Sutherland Falls are only 5 minute walk from the campground. And lots of other great hiking/biking trials not far.

The little man-made lake feels dirty. Probably because it's on the small side and lots of kids play in it. Playground is nice. More suited for older kids.
The staff are nice.
Generator can only be used 4 hours/day. They are strict about it.
$28/day plus $12/day if you have more than 1 vehicle.
LOTS of mosquitos. More than anywhere else we camped. We had planned on staying for 3 night but had to leave due to mosquitos. Sprays don't work on them.response / report this review -

This is a very nice park and campsite. The lagoon is an absolute trade for the kids and adults alike. The campsites are well maintained, spacious and offer privacy. The mosquitoes are a special kind of terrible though, as it others have often pointed out. We will go back for sure.

We showed up when the campground was full. The overflow parking is very nice. The staff that was around was super friendly and around a lot. They even came to my trailer to take Payment. We had never heard of this place, it was pleasant surprise to stumble onto this jewel of a park. The kids loved the lagoon to play in. I agree with other reviews that there are a fair amount of mosquitoes, but let's get real here, we are in their territory and in nature. If you don't want the mosquitoes, then stay in your downtown condo somewhere in a big city. The people of revelstoke are lucky to have this so close to them.

Large level sites, especially in the new loop. Lots of room between sites and the growth of wild raspberries ensured privacy as biking and walking was kept to provided paths.
The lagoon was a short bike ride from our site, although we drove in order to transport the floating "toys". Grass, picnic tables, sand beach and reasonably temperate water.
But we did not enjoy walking when it was cool as there were mosquitoes.response / report this review -

The mosquitoes! Oh my God, the mosquitoes! So flippin' many! You can't breathe without almost sucking a bunch up your nose. We were going to camp here, but I'm glad we took a day trip first. The campground seems nice, there's a playground for the kids, but the man- made wading pool thing there is a giant mosquito factory. Like I'm not explaining myself properly. I camp, I know there are mosquitoes outside, but like, there are not enough citronella candles in the world. If you go, bring deet. Like bathe in it.

This is an amazing camp site. Tuck in by the river, the camp sites are well proportioned and laid out. Each site feels very private and has a fire pit. The only negative is the mosquitoes. Bring plenty of spray!

Beautiful location. Really quiet with no road noise at night. The swimming lake that has been built is great for kids and families. Surrounded by lush forest, I would recommend staying here - even in the overflow section as we did!
