Great location adjacent to Hwy #3 in the Crownest Pass. There is a great food selection from the menu. The Probation Burger is a must if your appetite is large. I mean it is one big burger. There is choice of side order such as various salads or fries. The fries were big too and great. I certainly would return there when going through.

Food was excellent - 5. Service was pretty good - 4.5. We had one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had. The extra crispy wings were superb. We would go there every week, if we lived there. Thank you.

What a great place. A real surprise. Stopped in to get a burger and the service and food were outstanding. Thank you Pure Country. They also have historic pictures of the town of Frank, showing what it was like before and after the big rock slide.

I had the honey garlic chicken wings. The wings were dry, and difficult to chew. The sause was the tomato based honey garlic that didn't taste anything like honey. I also had the fries, they were soggy like they were left in deep-fry oil for too long

Rustic/Historic decor. Pleasant atmosphere. Great food.
Very long walk from the door makes it inconvenient for those with limited mobility.

Mediocre at best. This was my second trip to the saloon. I was there with friends a week ago and found the steak great and the service friendly if a little slow. My mom loves steak so I was excited to take her there for one. It was super busy for the buffet and they definitely need more staff on the floor but the waitresses are efficient and cheerful. One steak was unevenly cut, so the medium well was over cooked one side and perfect on the other but the well done steak was red and almost mooing and super thick. The menu lists the steak sandwich with fries and a side but the staff didn't know that. I noticed that the last time I was there and just figured I had read the menu wrong. Had to send the steak back and wait. For the $17.95 price tag I expect my steak to be cooked by someone who knows what they're doing. Bottom line, it's a 50/50 shot it may be good and I won't be going back again.
