Pros:
1. This place has a good variety of beers.
2. The staff was nice and friendly.
3. Clean facilities.
Cons:
Music can be a bit loud when a band performs.
Tip: Don't sit close to the stage if you want to hear your friends.

my friends and i traveled to toronto from barrie just to eat and drink there. and i gotta say they have the nicest servers ive ever seen in a place. it was really prompt friendly service. im deffinatly taking the trip back down soon to eat there again

Good place with good music, environment and drinks but the service is SO BAD that it takes away all the good things about the place. Really really untrained servers that have really bad attitude towards clients. They do not know how to manage large groups of people. You have to be CAREFUL otherwise you might get charge for things you didn't even consumed. I went with 9 people and they literally gave us the receipt and made us figure it out who had what in order to pay. First time that this happens to me. In every place I've been with large groups, with our names they figure out things and give separate receipts. The customer experience is terrible. I'm definitely not coming back here or recommending this place.

Standard bar restaurant experience I would say. Bit pricey for what you get. Still pretty good and good beer selection. Go for the drinks.

Can't go wrong with the beer selection, though I feel like there wasn't as many as when I used to go to another location years ago. Server was lovely and the patio charming. Food was good though I found the salad didn't fill me up, but they had a lovely deal on mixed platters.

Really enjoyed this place. We were seated promptly on the patio - comfortable seating. We ordered the charcuterie tray, then a steak salad and schnitzel. The charcuterie was amazing, the steak on the salad was delicious, but the salad and mozzarella was very bitter (not sure if that was the intent). The schnitzel was delicious and easily fed two people. The berry cocktail was delicious (and large for the price) and my friends were very pleased with the beer selection - large pours for a flight. We had no issue with service - the waitress was up and down the aisle enough that we could flag her down when needed.

On a sunny day, the outdoor area is significantly more popular than indoors.
A pleasant atmosphere with great service.

Went at 1pm. No one else inside restaurant (people were on patio). Waitress was great. Took the food till our second round of drinks to arrive. 2 meals came out then 10 minutes later the other 2. Disappointed in wait times and quality of food. Not sure of they were understaffed in kitchen.

This is the first Bier Market in the chain. It's smaller and older than the other locations but still has the same great menu and amazing beer list they have. The serving staff was great and really know their beers and can make good suggestions.

Nice ambience , great live music top 40 and no cover ( unlike other bars whose bread and butter is the cover charge, pathetic ! ), easy going, kind and amazing staff . Need not mention about their beer selections it's vast and awesomely explained in their detailed menu( very knowledgeable actually) . Beer for every palate and served in the authentic glass of the beer you order ( can't beat that ) One of the best places to hang out in toronto . It breaks my heart to see this place has rating of below 4 .

Went with a couple friends, some who are huge beer drinkers and some who weren't.
Everybody was able to find a beer they loved, including the friend who's not a beer drinker.
Our server was very knowledgeable about beer, and seemed genuinely interested in helping us find good beer.
I recommend the duck wings, although the lighting was a bit dark.
We did go on a slow night however (Wednesday night) so that probably was why we got such great service.response / report this review -

Drink selection is great but food taste and value is low. Out of the three times I've been there twice I've been let down. Skip anything that has meat because they always over cook. Appetizers are good. Salads are done well. Beer selection is great.
Would I return to this location? Nope, 2 poor experiences in 3 visits aren't odds I like.response / report this review
