Want to help integrate Syrian refugees into our beautiful and welcoming Canadian community?
H.appi is a not-for-profit organization working on a Camper program.
The purpose of the camp is to:
(a) help integrate Syrian refugees into Canadian communities; (b) improve their literacy and English language skills; and (c) improve their quality of life by ameliorating their emotional and mental health status.
Currently, Service Canada has awarded H.appi a grant for $36,000 to create 10 student summer jobs. However, H.appi still needs funds to better be equipped to handle all those who need their help, such as providing transportation for the children to and from the camp (~$5,000), providing snacks and lunch for the children (~$10,000), and providing arts and supplies to run the programs effectively (~$2,000).
