Clean, friendly staff and a decent value. I didn't like the bed and did not sleep well due to the super soft matress, but that is a personal preference. Overall it's a 5-star 3.5-star property.

Nice location just across the bridge. All the basic amenities. Very clean and comfortable stay, all the staff are very friendly and offer great service. The breakfast and coffee in the morning are free and taste great. All around a great stay in peace river no matter the budget. I would highly recommend.

Love this hotel! The rooms are clean, modern and very spacious. We had a king room, with a pull out sofa and a sizeable tv. Bathrooms were spotless and modern. As usual the breakfast had a wide selection of items. I loved that they had gluten free options for me and these were clearly labelled. I would say this is the best place to stay in town, and the experience is better than sevetal four star hotels I've stayed at in Calgary.

Very new facility, contemporary and clean. Staff were very courteous, even a polite phone call after check-in to make sure everything was good. Only a little more than the super 8 down the road, but much newer, cleaner, and more helpful. Also, Mr. Mike's in the parking lot is one of the better places in town to eat!

Stayed at this property on business for several nights. I stayed in a King Suite w/ kitchenette. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They were accommodating with an early check-in as well. The hotel location is excellent. There are restaurants within a minute or two walk and grocery stores less than a block away. The hotel is clean and modern. There isn't a family pool at this hotel but there is a spa and fitness center. I made use of the fitness center and found it to be below average for a hotel in this range. Lack of resistance training equipment and very small. The cardio equipment is high quality and in excellent shape. The Wi-Fi is average speed but consistent. Breakfast is included and I found it to be the standard, high sodium microwaved eggs and bacon. It lacked healthy choices such as oatmeal or fresh fruit.
The only issue I had was the inconsistent hot water availability. After calling the front desk about the issue I was informed the hot water heaters were being replaced and they would be down for a while. The staff resolved the issue quickly but this is information which needs to be made available at the time of booking or check-in.
Overall, the stay was excellent and the staff were very friendly.response / report this review -

Best Western in Peace River always hits the mark of professionalism, yet the staff are warm and welcoming. A wonderful place!! Sleep always comes easy in a place in which one feels confortable.a little hint of home☺ That sums up Best Western in Peace River, Alberta.

Exceeded my expectations in customer service and overall cleanliness. Staff were super helpful and friendly. I mis-booked my reservation, but they found another room for me no problem! Thank you. This level of service is the very reason I keep going back to Best Western. Awesome experience! Highly recommended if you are in the Peace River area.

Peace river best western has some of the best staff, they go out of there way to make sure your stay is perfect. Thank you all and keep up the good work, its hard to find good customer service these days but you guys are the best.

Very welcoming, comfortable. I would suggest a railing on front steps for easier access to vehicles. The bar in the bathroom on the tub was excellent.

Received a room upgrade for being a down on member. Prices are very good for such a nice hotel. Breakfast is also good and front desk staff are experienced and quick.

Always stay here for business when in Peace River because the stay is quiet and I always get a good sleep as the beds are great. Friendly Staff always. And I can start my day without delay because of the included breakfast. Great internet so I can get work done and submit reports no problem.

Great place to stay. I travel and stay in hotels well over half of the year. The rooms are great, the location is great but my gawd the women at the front desk is an absolute treat (not). The reason I gave it a three star..I mean come on when in your in the hospitality business try being hospitable or even a little pleasant would be acceptable. I'm a best Western diamond member and asked if it gave me anything like every other 30 best Western hotels I stayed at this year. Her response. NO. I could go on with other things but don't want to waste anymore of my time. Stay here? Yes! just don't expect a cheerful or warm reception.
