The Upper Deck pub used to be a great pub eith good food and service. Now it's closed :( I haven't been to the restaurant in years and I know a few people who have gone there for lunch and ended up with food poisoningso I'm ok staying away.

Food was mediocre and overpriced for the quality. Service is also inconsistent.Some servers terrific others careless. I have waited 20 minutes for menus to be delivered to table I went to ask two servers chatting at their station and was met with annoyance. They blamed me because they assumed we wanted buffet when we specifically said we did not on arrival. I was with my elderly parents who have difficulty walking and cant handle buffet.Very disappointing. i have stopped going there after many years and regular ' lets give it another try' .Too bad as they have good parking and an amazing view.

Staff are wonderful. Hotel is being updated so some areas are not up to par. We went to the restaurant for dinner at 5:30 on Thursday Aug 10th and were turned awaythe restaurant was almost empty. Were were told there wdre not enough staff. Very disappointing. Fortuately the front desk staff Jan directed us to Kalvis across the street and even made reservations for us.

The food was atrocious. I had the entre Seafood Curry and at best it tasted like a mediocre stew. I asked if I could have some more Curry and it came back with absolutely no change at all!
Avoid this place like the plague. We won't be back and we live nearby.response / report this review -

They think a medium steak is well done, without pink in center. Sent the first one back. Second one had a tiny bit of pink. They call their shrimp prawns. Sized up one notch from tiny. $3 for three small shrimp added to steak. The veggies were good. Nice decor. OK service.

Our waitress was horrible! We (table of 4) hardly saw her, she never came to refresh our water I had to go ask the bar for a pitcher and when that was empty she still didn't ask us if we wanted anything as for our cocktails she never asked about those either. After being seated immediately it too some time before we were even asked what we wanted to drink. From the time we sat down till we got our food it was over an hour. At this point we were concerned about the quality of the food. Here's the good part THE FOOD WAS GREAT! It was hot and very tasty!

Recently renoed, terrific view of the Georgia Strait from the large windows. Smaller menu, had the burger which was well above average. Reasonable but not stellar service.

Not on the main strip, so not usually busy with tourists. Good views, ok to go just for a change.

Great view. Very poor/rude service. We unfortunately felt that the hostess was just not interested in serving us. Had to keep reminding her about everything. Food is overpriced. Except for the fish burger, which was yummy, rest of the food was below average. Old, dated furnishings etc.
