We have had nothing but positive experiences at Waterdown Self Storage. Mark's communication has always been clear and efficient. With this being said, we have not needed to communicate with Mark too often as everything has been exactly what we needed. Some hopes for "next steps" could include hopefully having the spaces be a bit bigger in the future. Other than that, we have had an amazing experience with Mark, and will definitely continue next year again. Thanks Mark :)

A short notice need had us scrambling for some storage space last summer so when we reached out to Mark, he was very professional, accomodating, and straightforward about his policies. Like many people, we ended up needing the space longer than first anticipated, and the facility worked out perfectly for our needs. As we did not have any issues, our contact with Mark was limited, but always pleasant. This is not a new facility and the price is reflective of that. That said, the service is definitely top shelf and reflective of the quality of residents within this community. Pay your fees on time, respect the property, and I cannot see anyone having a single issue. Sincere appreciation Mark.

I was really stuck for a space to store my trailer and Mark came through for me in a big way!! He was quick to answer emails and provided me with all the info I needed. He came and met me at the gate, showed me around, showed me my "spot" and had me all signed up in no time. Very friendly and very understanding about the lack of storage available at reasonable prices. His prices beat everyone else by a long shot and his personal touch is the best!

We have been at Waterdown Self Storage for 4 years now and are renewing for our 5th. We love the close proximity to Waterdown, the ease of accessing the storage lot, the security features and that the owner, Mark, is always available and more than happy to help us when needed. We would definitely recommend Waterdown Self Storage!

We have parked our trailer at Waterdown Self Storage for 2 years and have just renewed for a 3rd year. Mark Soaves, the owner, is a very nice and helpful man and has assisted us in backing up into our spot several times in the beginning. He is very knowledgeable. There is a security gate and cameras on the property and Mark is there almost every day. You are welcome to go check out your trailer anytime you like. It is close to town, so easy access. I would highly recommend Waterdown Self Storage!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. As mentioned below, the owner allows others to park in your space even if you only take your trailer out for a few days. When confronted, the owner makes YOU feel like the bad guy and takes zero responsibility for making mistakes. If I'm paying for an entire season, then my spot shouldn't be taken out from under my nose. What am I expected to do with my trailer upon my return then?
The other issue is that the owner has all the trailers crammed in so tightly that it takes a lot of maneuvering just to get in and out of the spot. I witnessed another couple completely unable to get their trailer out of their spot due to the extreme cramming!
Perhaps at one point this place used to be good, but the owner is clearly just greedy now and will sacrifice good customer service and reliability just to make a couple extra quick bucks. Please avoid this place at all costs.response / report this review -

This place was awful. The owner seemed friendly enough at the beginning, but anytime I took my trailer out, my spot would be gone. Every time I would have to call him, wait around for him to figure things out, then park in some other spot.
After several camping trips I came back to find my 30' spot taken up with a small minivan, so I parked in the only spot available. I then called him to let him know. He told me to go back and move my trailer. He didn't ask, he demanded in a very rude manner. It turned into a pointless argument as there was nowhere else for me to park.
He also had left a pile of garbage in front of my trailer over the winter which he assured me would be moved. In the spring it was not moved so I had to move it myself. It turned out that it was a great house for mice as they scurried away as I cleaned up the owner's trash.
So if you want storage that is not guaranteed and is behind a pile of garbage, then this place is perfect!response / report this review -

BEST RATES BY FAR in all of Flamborough, Hamilton, and Burlington!! Very lucky I found them. Convenient Location, Clean Facility, and Friendly, Personable Service.
