First of all, I have to say that I love, love the mussels. Second on my list of fave would be the freshly baked sourdough & beef tartare. My husband really enjoyed the clams, corn & chorizo. Loved the ambiance & service! Can’t wait to go back for my mussels fix! Mussels and AG47 Chardonnay for the win! Shout out to Becky, the chef! And oh, almost forgot the bone marrow with capers & anchovies!

My friends and I went for Brunch at 39 Carden recently. The presentation was beautiful and food was delicious!! It's higher priced but you get what you pay for. My only criticism is that the wait for the food took a little too long (they were fairly busy and it gave my friends and I time to chat anyway) and the coffee tasted burnt. Excited to go back sometime to try the dinner menu!

Carden 39 is easily my favourite restaurant. The food is amazing, the ambiance is on point and the staff are incredible. They offer a wide range of food; brunch, snacks and mains. As well as a wine, beer and cocktail menu. It's a wonderful gem in Guelph.

I have had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at 39 Carden Street a number of times. This week, the craving for their delicious food was so strong that we detoured on a road trip from London to Toronto just to enjoy another delicious meal!

That's the problem with setting the bar highAnd, to be honest, every other time I would have given it 5 starslet's hope the mediocrity last night was just a one-of and the next outing will be more satisfyinglast night, food okay, service less somaybe everyone was just having an off nightwill have another go before I'm put right off and start searching for a new favorite

I was there yesterday with my friend. I thought I was the only who noticed the standoffish attitude from the staff, particularly the waitress who served us, but turns out there were similar experiences. In fairness, she did her job and did nothing wrong, but she also wasn't pro-active in giving a good and friendly vibe. Their Benny from the brunch menu definitely ranks within my Top 5, with a good price to boot.

39 Carden is an absolute gem of a place.Awesome food only exceeded by the wonderful staff and chic / comfortable ambience. The menu is excellent offering something for everyone and the cocktails on offer are superb!

I had a girls luncheon yesterday at 39 Carden Street and was I ever impressed! The food was delicious and a wide range of selections to choose from. The service was stellar and I have to say, I was just impressed by the whole experience. I highly recommend making a reservation as the place was packed!

Every time I've been to this restaurant, I have received impeccable service. The owner and all of the staff are so friendly, courteous and professional. The food is to die for, whether going for brunch or dinner. 39 Carden Street is everything that a local eatery should be.

39 Carden Street will never leave you questioning why you went there. From the atmosphere, staff and kitchen its truly an amazing place. Clients have never been disappointed when we leave, my family loves going there. You actually feel like you're part of their family while you're there.

A blanket on the patio to keep enjoying the evening, 2 beautifully plated meals when you tell them you want to share a dish, great atmosphere and tons of food choices. Amazing brunch!
