The 1st time I went I was pretty dissapointed in selection but figured it was just because it was new.

This year was the same. ALL the same vendors & trucks except they tripled the number of people selling soap.

Only redeeming point was that I got a henna tattoo & a restock on my spices.

Wish I hadnt shelled out money for parking or entrance. Will not be returning again. will sace my money for somewhere else.

Great set up. Lots of artisan tables which made it worth it. The kiddie section was a great addition. There was a good selection of food trucks. The only thing they didn't have was recycling bins. So many recycables (cans and water bottles) went into the garbage. My kids even commented on it. Hopefully next year they will have recycling bins. Looking forward to going back next year.

Such an awesome event! Prices to get in were very reasonable and $5 parking was even better. At other market unless you find street parking which is generally limited it's $10 parking. Great assortment of vendors plus also having a vendor with fruit and veggies, I was also to buy some fresh local stock. Loved that line up weren't long and was able to see entertainment from the beer gardens. Would definitely be back again!

Not bad, always room for improvement. Such as not having 3 honey vendors there. No need for a small space. With all the handicraft people on Handmade Winnipeg FB page, you shouldbe able to get one of each item there with NO duplicates.

One thing duplicated could be the food trucks, line-ups were crazy especially at mini-donuts.

More vendors are needed though. HOpefully you'll be reading these comments and make adjustments for your September show.

I thought it was very well organized and very well layed out. Food trucks line ups was crazy but that was to be expected. Pretty sure I read you could walk around with your drinks and shop but that wasn't the case. No biggie. Being only the first one, I think it's a fabulous event on a Sunday when there's no racing! No problem with an entrance fee as it was very organized too, but parking too? That was a bit much. We bought nothing, ate upstairs inside and left $400 in the VLTs- overall a fun day except for the $5 parking. I think it has a great future!

From a first-time vendor point of view, this was really well done. Staff was very helpful, loading/unloading was generally pretty easy and quick and there was a pretty good variety of vendors with quality products. Wish I had had the time to look around more!

Loved the thought Enjoyed the vendors, and the shopping. I think the event needs more food trucks as by 730 a lot of lines were still very long and a lot of food was sold out. Didn't like that we couldn't walk around with drinks as I believe the whole place is licensed. Other than that I thought the idea was amazing!

I haven't been to the Winnipeg one, but I heard bad things. Last night was awesome! Crazy friendly and helpful staff! Awesome visibility of security. Great food vendors options for anything you might crave. And super thumbs up for having live music both inside and outside! It's a nice space to control such crowd. Idk what some people are saying that it looks like a cheap thrift shop. I didn't see any vibe like that at all. Cute store displays through out! Can't wait to go to the next one!

I was personally disappointed that we couldn't tour vendors and music with a beer as advertised on one of the earlier posters. That was one of the selling points that attracted myself and my spouse. Guess they confined the license to the beer garden area. That just limited consumption so only enjoyed one Torque Ale. We skipped lunch to have early supper so line up at trucks was limited around 5ish. Enjoyed outdoor music, seating was good earlier. Staff was great, lots of vendors and trucks. Parking cost and entry fee annoyed me but didn't stop us from attending this time to sample the experience. However, we won't return to a subsequent event at those costs.

Ps: a list of performers and times would be nice. We left at 6:00 so not sure what we missed or what would have kept us there.

Entrance fee is 5 bucks each person plus 5 bucks for parking. If you want people to come, don't charge parking or entrance fee. Most stalls are regular Farmers markets' vendors. All the food trucks are regular food trucks seen on Broadway. Why would I want to pay 15 bucks (for 2 people plus parking) for things that I can see for free usually??!!
