  The chop 1888, was absolutely amazing. We had world class service and amazing food, we came here to celebrate our engagement were celebrated by the entire staff. My fiancé has a very severe peanut allergy, and they took every effort to assure us the food they were serving was safe. This was the best experience ever! Thank you Chop house 1888!

  I had bison tenderloin and my wife had wagyu beef and both were excellent. So were the service and ambiance. Also very expensive.

  A great restaurant in Fairmont Banff Springs, had a 35oz Porterhouse for 2, for the price have had better Porterhouse steaks around the world

  First time eating here today. Came to Banff for my boyfriend's birthday. The food was amazing and the service and staff were incredible. I had the smoked pork chop which was very good. I had a bit of my boyfriend's wagyu steak and that was so worth the money. Our server brought out a chocolate hazelnut cheesecake with a sparkler on it for dessert. Next time I'm back in Banff I'll definitely come back and have the wagyu striploin myself!

  The only thing that matched my Delicious & Outstanding Dining Experience, were the Magnificent views of the Mountains and Forest outside the windows of the Restaurant. A Memorable experience to last a Life time ! 😍

  Service is a+ and extensive wine selection (a little bit overpriced). Had the tomahawk for 2 (never had such a delicious and generous portion). Sides (mushrooms, asparagus, mash) were bland. Heirloom tomatoes salad was way too small and more than average. Worth going for a special occasion for the setting & service, but you can easily find a better steakhouse.

  Amazing service and wine selection. This was the best steak I've had (bone in ribeye). Nicholas or server was extremely professional, quick, and knew exactly when to check on us, advise, and when to allow us time to relax. Would highly recommend.
