This place was one of the more inviting and warm hostels I've ever stayed at and would highly recommend. Suzzanne, is very kind and a proud owner of two dogs named "Ticker" and "Buddy". These dogs just make this hostel even more welcoming. The hammocks in the front are extremly relaxing. Don't overlook this gem!

This was my second visit to Yuma's and, I have to say, I'm so happy that I decided to introduce my partner to this wonderful hostel. The hammock garden, with that wonderful breeze, made very day a chilled out one. I recommend our room, #13, for it's big window - but definitely request #14, with an ocean view, if you can get it.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at, period. Lots of place to chill, a nice garden area and super clean. Two kitchens also help it not to make it too crowded during meals. Ah, and the rescue dogs are awesome. Loved it !

We loved our stay here. The rooms were comfortable and clean and finally somewhere with a hot shower! There is a great atmosphere here fostered by the amazing hosts who run optional nightly activities for guests.

The best part of staying here was undoubtedly the breakfasts. Every day was something different but equally delicious.

My husband and I stayed with Susanne this past weekend. The room was cheerful, clean and had a perfect location. The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. I left a travel pillow of great sentimental value there, and Susanne was very quick to help me retrieve it on my ferry back to Belize from San Pedro, going above and beyond. I highly recommend this hostel!

The location is amazing! When you get off of the ferry, Yuma's is directly on the left- close to everything that's happening but just enough removed that it is not loud and does not have a lot of foot traffic. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I had a wonderful time in Caye Caulker- will definitely come to Yuma's again! Thanks!

Really personable owners, very good about recommending stuff to do. It's in a great location too, right next to the dock and a short walk into town. Very nice kitchen and facilities, only downside is rooms are kind of hot. But hey, don't spend so much time in your room.

It has the island feel without the crazy party scene. People at grilling out in the common area, there are bright colors and hammocks everywhere. It's hot and sandy, DUH. For the price, you can't beat it. This is the first building you see as the water taxi pulls in. Very convenient. Also, it is right beside a community center of sorts and they are usually playing local music and bands. The staff are knowledgeable about the local tour guides. Best part, the east side of the island catches all the winds so there are few mosquitos outside the hostel.

When I was here in 2008 it was called Tina's and I had a lovely, laid-back, stay here. I hope it's just as fantastic since the name change.

Very clean and organized. Great location and pretty much everything you could ask for except hot showers. Susanne runs a tight ship and the rules are for safety as much as they are for comfort so I actually appreciated them. Would definitely recommend.

Such an awesome hostel!. Clean, large showers/bathrooms, awesome lists of excursions/restaurants - I can't recommend this place enough. If you can get a night here, book it!

I stayed in the group dorm for 3 nights, and my experience was excellent! I loved the clean room and secure personal lockers. Staff was friendly, and the place felt very safe. The hammocks were a wonderful place to hang out. The kitchen was clean and fully stocked with all the supplies I needed to chop fruit or cook. Bathrooms were clean as well.
